Bill J doesn't sell Subaru parts, so what to do?

I bought some brake rotors and pads from autopartswarehouse.com and they sent me the wrong stuff. It seems their catalog for Outback brake parts is all wrong. I received the wrong sized rotors and, presumably, the pads to go with that size. The front rotors on my car seem to be around 290mm and they sent 260mm, which is right for 1999 and previous, but not my 2001. In fact, I cannot seem to find any agreement online as to what size should be on my car.

What do you Subaru owners do?

Haven't had to do brakes on my Legacy yet, but maybe this link helps you out?

http://www.racingbrake.com/SUBARU_OUTBACK_s/302.htm

Maybe neelnug knows more.

Did you try
http://www.1stsubaruparts.com/ ?

No personal experience though.

T.

I should add that I ordered Brembo rotors as the Subaru ones are not as good (they tend to warp, as mine are now.)

If anyone can find a part# for Brembo 294mm rotors, let me know!
