On your new bulbs, you may have to trim one of the tabs to make it more easily fit the reflector. Take a look at each of the bulbs (9005 vs. 9006). Pay close attention to the tabs on each bulb type. The high beam bulbs going into the low beam sockets may need to have one of its tabs trimmed back.
The electrical connector end of the bulb will absolutely have to be trimmed. When I did mine, I cut a trap door in the bulb package through the clear plastic so that I could access the electrical connector. I trimmed the tab inside of the connector with a utility knife (I actually shaved it down).
Hope that this.

You don't ahve to trim anything. Take your dremel and shave off the tab inside the light bulb itself (don't want to damage any factory connectors!). That's it. When you put the bulb in, notice the plastic ring around where the light fits into. Loosen the 2 torx screws holding it down, the slack will allow the high beam bulb to fit in the socket. Tighten them back down and you're done.
