Sorry if this is a repost but I'm at work and don't have time to search. I just thought it could be a real help for anyone installing LED's who doesn't know what rating resistors to use. Here it is. The needed values will be supplied with the LED's you pick out.

A recommendation to those doing their own LEDs:
Most of the time the current rating given with the LED is the MAXIMUM current. If you want the LED to last longer with less chance for problems, I suggest you de-rate the current a bit. I.e. for a 20mA LED I'd calculate the resistor for 15mA.
