Just wondering if anyone can tell me how long and hard it would be to remove a front left fender off a salvage yard car?? It is not the right color but if I take it off it would only be $42 but then I would have to get it painted, not sure how much that would be...any input is great...

It's something like 8 bolts, all easily acessable if the front bumper and sideskirts are dropped, there is a tricky one underneath the plastic part under the windshield wipers, but just remove that plastic piece (I think it's 4 plugs and maybe screws underneath that) and that's it, very simple job, good luck!

Oh, and I got quoted for just a fender with no installation but with prep work (stripped, primered) at $250, if you know someone who knows how to paint and has the equipment, buy a scuff pad, some primer, and some paint in your color (should be cheapish) and then some clear coat (most expensive though not sure about primer) and you'll save some money.

painting it shouldnt be a problem, just sand, prime with a good sandable white primer, then get the exact match can for asbout $10 to do hte whole thing. Do nice even coats and you'll have it painted well. Then clearcoat to match exactly.
