Well, I am neutral towards the Cubbies, but since my best friend and her boyfriend are huge Cubbies fans (live in walking distance of Wrigley) I usually go to one game a year, which is more than I see of my team... the TWINS!

The funny thing is Im 14, gone to 18 Cubs games(at least),
but have never been to Wrigley.

actually that is what the cubs are known for in the 70's can't remember the exact year but they had the best record in baseball going into the all star break and were up by 20 games ended up finished 10 games out of first

and I see you have NO CLUE about the sox... they were doing better the second half of the season.

i listened to both games today during a marathon 13 hours of work.

my boss and his bro are cub fans and i am the only sox fan. we root for eachothers teams unless the cubs and sox are playing eachother, then it is war.

and we all know who has the better of the sox v. cubs series.

i agree. although i like the changes they have made to it this year. old comiskey was the best place ever to watch a game.

except when you could hear the gun shots and sirens coming for the Robert Taylor Projects every other inning(now they are all torn down if i am not mistaken). granted it was a LOT better than the new park, but Wrigley was and always will be the better place to watch a game...

i have been to many sox games during the late eighties, and i just didn't feel like hearing the gun fights in the ghetto was very pleasing to my baseball watching expierence. i just wanted to see Baines and Fisk play, and as a young boy hearing the shots kinda freaked me out. i must admit i cried in 90 when the closed the doors, Comiskey was a nice park, just a poor location...

you guys are like those fat asses on SNL the superfans .. just watching and listening and never played you might even know stats but don't really know the game.. i like both teams and would like to just see a chicago team win a series..

yes i played in left field in HS. was first team all-state junior and senior years. had a scholorship to play at SIUC then i torn my knee up and they dropped me. i have played in allstar games at Busch and Wrigley both times i about crapped when i stepped to the plate (kinda scary looking out at the stands thinking about the 30k+ fans cheering for ya). so yes i do know the game.

I played Right Field and Catcher in Little League.

I played all outfield positions,2nd base and pitcher. I've played all positions in Intermediates and Left field in HS. I was on the traveling team one year in Intermediates also. I know the game just a little myself.

I went to the home opener ($ucked+cold as hell)
