well guys I had a family party, so there was no way I could make it. The June 8th meet looks like a no no for me as well, but who knows. guess there wasn't a good turnout?

I was thinking the usual, then if the weather is nice roll up to Busse Woods for pics.

I think the Schaumburg one is cool, since we never get hassled there.

We had slow service wating for out food. So, I told the Hooter's manager that we go there once a month, and he lit a fire under the waitress' behind! Always complain, nicely, and you'll get better service.

IIRC, at my old church, 2 blocks from Kevin's hosue, there were 6 masses from 7 am to 12:15, and a last chance 5:00 mass on Sundays.

The one i go to has 4 starting at 7am and the last one starts at 11:45. And that's a non-donominational church.

In New Orleans there is a Catholic mass at every time of the morning due to the fact there is a church on every other street corner. Lots of choices, which is good since I tend to oversleep.

and steve, the current topic in SE forum is not a past meet that ya'll attended, it's one i would like to setup but atleast 20 posts have been about people in chicago that have already stated they can not come to a meet in the SE in august for obvious reasons.

My DMD is still packed in shipping box waiting for installation.

I drove 1500 miles in past week on a trip to Branson MO in my Focus. It ran fine, but the Ozarks were a bit tough for the car. But had great time on some twisties and hills.

yeah, the Tour would have been better for the drive, but it has no CD player (yet) and the headrests are too small (need pre '98 ones).

The Focus ones aren't that great either.

Most of my fellow Foci owners have had problmes with the 6 CD player.

I'm looking at aftermarket CD players for the Contour, but with my job situ. I am goingto have to wait.

Hey, I just learned that tide and oxyclean work great on the carpets inside my apartment, gonna try it on the carpet in my car too, anyone want me to bring the carpet shampooer to the meet????????

Hey I got a can of carpet shampoo, you can use that, a brush and a shop vac, but you can do that on your own.

Is the meet still a go? Want to amke sure since things can change in a "Chicago (not N.Y.) Minute".

I am thinking of re-selling my never used red 9mm Ford Performance Wires for Duratech, $40. I'll bring to meet.

As for the Fox Valley Hooters time, we are planning to get there at 1PM, same time as the Schaumburg meets.

Sorry guys, I guess I am unable to come to my first Chicago meet. I didn't get my paycheck on friday, so I spent the rest of my money on my insurance and have no gas money. The place is too far. Im going to work tomorrow to fill in for somebody else anyways, so I guess ill have to catch your next meet. I hope its sometime soon, hopefully before the National Meet in August. I was lookin forward into seein some nice contiques modded and such, but life dont work out how we all want it. Speaking of which, its supposed to rain anyways.

aww hell every body knows that they are friends that just joke around with each other, I was aggrevating them.
