12 is more like it.

Most meets were at 1 PM before. That's my vote, but 12 is OK, 11 is too early.

If someone with PC art skills could draw a map of where the Meet lot is in relation to Hooter's it would be cool.

The lot is sotuh of Hooter's, between Liberty Mutual and the '999' Office Buildings.

I am sure some will still have trouble finding it. Some of us Veterans can give newbies our cell #'s, I'll volunteer.

If the weather is warm I'll put my new rims on..whohoo! I won't be staying too long. But just give me an exact time to meet in the lot. I want to see some tours! I'll be around from the 20-23rd.

Map of the Meet site/lot

Couresty of Mapquest, here is a map of where the lot is by Hooter's and Woodfield Mall. Hooter's address is: 1705 E. Golf Rd. Schaumburg, IL 60173

I say we all meet at the usual 1:00 PM , not too early, not too late.

Hey, I will be at the meet, but I think I need to changes my belts soon because they are showing wear and a clicking noise just started as if the belt is sticking a little. It only happens when the car warms up and I am pretty sure its the belts. Does anyone know how hard they are to change them and would they make it till sunday when hopefully someone could show me how? Thanks guys, just dont want to have to have it in the shop for a day, cant afford it.

It would be great to have a Mazda 6 at the meet, or as I call it a "2003 Contour/Mystique". There's a good chance it will be in Mercury showrooms in 2 years.

Today's weather forecast for Sunday is the same: 50 deg, party sunny.

LOL you guys are gonna laugh but I might not make it. My Circuit City-installed alarm is too smart for its own good and the starter kill won't disable. My car is stranded at a movie theater. I will try and borrow one of my parents' cars.

It was a great turnout! Sorry I was late, had to wash the car, but next one I will be there on the spot.

Meets in Public Places bring out the newbies and I propose having them every two months. Next: May, July, Sept, Nov*. In between there are cookouts and houses, parks, and of course the National Meet in August.

Looking forward to the warm season and more meets!

* weather permitting.
