hello im new to here. I drive a 97 contour SE 2.5 duratech. I like it alot. im from the indiana area. How many other indiana guys are there on here?

Thanks for the welcome and I think almost everyone has went to ball state lol. I go into myspace.com and over half it seems like have went to BSU even in yahoo lol. I love BSU though damn there is alot of hot chics there this year.

i know about fast but the car is pretty quick i just want to see what she will do thats all. I driven a 78 elcamino that did high 11's to low 10's at the strip so i know about fast, I also drove a 95 nissan zx v6 doing 130 in 4th with a gear to go.

its possible to have a fast 2.5, if you think in terms of the platform. In the grand scheme of things are they fast, no, in the contour/mystique/cougar platform its possible. I only know of 1 N/A 2.5 atx cougar thats faster than mine and ive only had it at the strip 2 times both in really crappy conditions

amen, i just dont see how anyone can say a stock contour is fast.....................

compared to a 2.0 ATX GL or a yugo it is fast(er)

i wouldnt say that about all yugos. there is a twin big block chrysler yugo that autoxs in my region occasionally
