well, discovered today i have a blown koni, they're only two month old and it's my only car....i borrowed my ma's till sunday, not sure what i'm going to do after that....looks like i won't make it down for the test fit mike

you have 8 days mang. it is coo if you cant but there is a lot of time. call koni and get it worked out.

jeesus.. i was just gonna PM you about roll resistors.. but yea if i still had my 97, i'd loan it to you...

YEah call KONI, I hear they are super quick on responses about these problems. SHoot, someone on here had one go bad, they called and told them and I belive they overnighted him a new strut.

I hope that you did not modify the strut in any way, as that would mean that you are up the creek...

i'm calling koni today as i will have the strut out very soon to verify that it is the problem, once i hear back from them i'll know for sure.....

otherwise i'll be throwing in a stocker for a while.

the loaner car request wasn't in total seriousness, if it gets to that point, i'll let ya know.

HOep you get her fixed up. Koni should give you NO problems, what so ever. I'm sure they will require you shipping the blow one tothem for verification, but visual inspection will ultimatly show it's blown.

I did have a [censored] day though. Came home to the girl and she brought food

Then we get done and I start talking about patching my roof. Next thing you know storm clouds!!!!

The water running through the window was one thing but the ceiling was a surprise. I wne tinto my attic in horror to see water running like a faucet in spots

Thank god this was a fast rain. I just got done panic roofing the old porch roof area. What a great friggin day

mikey, i'll see ya thrusday, thanks for the help to everyone who offered me advise, now to send my strut back to koni.....anyone know what half the retail price of one koni is...the price they charged is suspiciously high.

retail on 1 Koni strut should be 150-180 easily

How did you realize one went bad already.

it snapped at the base of the threads....i heard the pop, had a new rattle, the front end was spongy, and the whole dirvers side front wheel well was covered in strut oil.

not to mention my degree in engineering....thats a given
