whos all goin? i'm going up there with my car if it's still running.. i'm goin up there with a bunch of my friends they have a 96 BMW 318i Convet., 95 max GLE 5 speed
.. and a 93 Integra with a JDM b18 swap... Admission is 12 bucks to race all day.. there will be a lot of Maximas there lookin for races because they are having a meet there too...
It'll probably be crowded, but what the hell. I'll be there on the condition that my car runs with no problems when I pull it out of storage.

It isn't a very large place. We'll probably just meet in the pits. If its busy (probably will be) we'll most likely have to park wherever we can and go from there.
I don't think its possible to get lost at GLD..it's rather small.

both me and my friend (both have e1 svt's) are heading up there, i may be bringin some cars with me as well.
last year was extremely crowded, if you want to run 3-4 times, get tehre before the place opens. there were probably 300+ cars there, you wait in line for about an hour and a half to run once. but there's some crazy stuff there, like a 10 second snowmobile, a minivan, an integra that caught on fire, and even a cop that was racing
(followed him all the back home.. pretty cool doing 90mph behind a cop for 30 minutes knowing he's not going to pull you over

There were two problems with that run: ov3n has a 3L (which I helped install!), and I don't know how to drag race to save my life.

As for the Vortec blazers...yah those are kinda fast for their size. I'll ride with Hec then and watch pole get beat!! Lol...and hopefully he'll stop ripping on my zetec for a lil while.
BTW...got my SVT exhaust with no res. installed today The mods have begun for the year!!

I might not be there till the end or after the racing is over. Not sure when and how long I have to work. And I'm swamped with side job work. Been working 10 hour days then staying anohter 2 hours each day machining and welding parts. I'll be lucky to have them all done by saturday

Dam I wish I could have come!!! I was totally planing on it but Ford called me on Friday and asked me to work at the last minute. They were in a jam and needed me so bad they paid me time and a half. I so wanted to see all the tours and would have been cool to see the blown up corvette!!
i have to get my buddies video camera....then i will, i also need to watch it and find out what my time was on my second run(the printer was broken at the slip stand)....i beat the Maxima even though i hit the rev limiter in 2nd, someone said low 15's....i gotta check it out.
