I already have my deck mounted in the lower "hole" below the factory din loacation, and i was wondering if you took out the ciggerette lighter, and the coin holder, and moved the large blue wire harness behind it to the side if you could mount a double din there. I know youd need to hack away some plastic but i think it would work.. Any input would be nice...

Yup, the space is there if you can support the double din. I'm wrapping up my pre98 console now, so I know there is room for what you want to do.

Give me some ideas on models, preferably alpine but i wouldnt mind eclipse. I need an AUX input and 3 outputs.
