I was thinking about buying that Zaino kit for polishing my car. Anyone use it? I'm wondering if its worth the price.

IMHO it looks wonderful on dark color cars and is not as time consuming as it used to be before they came up with the ZFX additive. On light color cars I like carnubas look better.

I myself use mostly Klasse acrylic products and would definitely recommend them as another option to Zaino. I would say that Zaino and Klasse products last longer than any other I have seen or used.

Btw, Darth if you would like, I have a pretty substantial collection of cleaning and detailing equipment (shampoo, cleaner, polish, wax, sealant, glaze, PC orbital, microfiber towels, etc...) that I would be more than happy to help you use some weekend. I'll be down here in SD until August and since I don't have a car to use them on currently, they all just sit in my garage.

Common misconception. With new products released in the last year, Zaino is less work than any other line of products.

Other line:
- wash
- clay
- clean
- polish
- seal
- topper (optional)

Zaino:
- wash
- clay
- ZPC (clean & polish)
- Z2 (sealant)

That's the first time I've heard anyone say a synthetic looks better on a dark colored car. For purely cisuals, carnauba is considered the better choice as it brings out more color and depth than a synthetic. Having spoken to Sal, he has stated Zaino vs carnauba is tough to beat visually on the black SVT I will be detailing at SZ since synthetics offer more shine and carnaubas bring out the color and depth.

Depends on your point of view and what you like. I would say many people prefer the deep rich depth of color that carnaubas give versus synthetics on dark cars, but I myself prefer the mirror-like shine that synthetics leave on dark cars.

The combo of Klasse AIO and SG as finishing products on my old black CSVT was my personal favorite for aesthetics and durability.
