ok everyone. the time and details are set. we'll be meeting on Saturday December 17th. the weekend before Christmas.
The meet will start in Marina Del Rey in the Ralph's parking lot at 11am. (Matt, please supply address again.)
After shooting the shet and waiting for stragglers the group will cruise down PCH to Malibu.
In Malibu, on PCH, at the entrance to Decker Canyon (hwy 23) the group will then enter the canyon to play for an hour or two. hopefully shoot some video footage and take pics. If you cant make it to Marina del Rey or dont feel like meeting there, you can meet the group at Decker Canyon, at either end. hopefully we'll take quite a few runs through. hopefully if anyone doesnt feel like making a few runs they can do some video shooting. and remember, FILL UP YOUR TANK BEFORE WE GET THERE! [cough] Matt [/cough]
After spinning our bearings through Decker Canyon we will then shoot on over to John Stoessal's house for a bbq. The food will be provided. burgers, hot dogs, chips, beer, soda, dessert, etc.... (maybe some steaks, maybe)
I am going to get all the food, please just bring $5 per person to cover the costs. i'll need an accurate head count of all participants and their guests so i can be sure to have enough food.
It just so happens that I'll probably be on vacation in the Orange Co. area that week/weekend with my SVT. So, if y'all don't mind a guest, I'll try and make it!

Update: Waiting for the tracking number on my suspension to see if it can go in on time. If not, I'm going to have to go slower in the canyon....
But, with all 4 struts out, all 4 wheel bearings out, one tie rod possibly shot, and a CV going, I can't risk the car taking a dive over the edge of the road. I like it too much for that.

today that soccer trophies will be given out on Dec 17th. along with bbq and kids vs. parents game (or something like that). my wife has to work that day so ill have to go. not that id really want to miss my princess' 1st AYSO team's trophy day.
i dont know exactly what time this will all take place at. supposedly at 11am. so i may be able to get her trophy and meet up with everyone at Decker. ill probably have more info this weekend.

yeah, he is. he can be hard to get ahold of some time. gettin reallll busy. needs to finish my car, has an emergency cam weld to do, another cam weld to do (basically an emergency), and a bunch of stuff to do to Jose's car that is pretty important. he doesnt even have time to work on his own car, poor bastid.
when are you expecting your stuff? did you email him?
I may go, it's going to be hard to get the day off. But I may go... no promises though.

For assistance w/ directions:
-If you are travelling north on Lincoln, the Ralph's will be on your left. Right where the 90 connects, you can pull a U-turn, or turn left into these big apartment towers' driveway, and make an immediate left into the Ralph's lot.
-If travelling via 90 westbound... unfortunately, I don't believe you can make a left out of th merge with Lincoln. Go down one light, pull a U-turn, and see below.
EDIT:
The left into the apartments/Ralph's is actually one light AFTER the 90 meets Lincoln. So, 90w folks, turn right from the farthest left lane (they all go right) and turn left at the first light. Lincoln N. people, go north in the left lane and turn left at the first light AFTER the 90 merges into Lincoln (on your right).
