Not at all SE, but I just had this guy at Neil's Auto Body in Coon Rapids paint my front bumper and Mirko splitter for a total of $280. It looks fantastic better then OEM. He had it finished in 3 business days.

Hey doug-
tony at abra in long lake gave me a good price on the work I had done last summer. Try checking them out, their work was great.

i have a friends dad who is a painter and does side work for 30$ an hour. does NICE work and is fairly fast. you pay his time, and for the paint. if you bring it prepped, you'll get it back real quick, and only be charged the couple hours it takes to do. PM me for a phone # if you want. they would be located near forest lake, MN.

I have a guy here in rochester that does my painting for me at a decent price. He's a professional body guy at the chevrolet dealership and just got done repairing and painting my Mirko. Damn thing looks better than it ever did and I can't wait to put it back on after I get the Tour back on the road.

Do you think he would be willing to help me out? Why is the tour down?

I'm sure he would, I'll see if I can get ahold of him tomorrow. Is there any repair work that needs to be done? Just paint and clear, or does he have to sand it down and prime, or is there damage that needs to be repaired?

One fender needs a little work, it is scuffed up pretty good. THe other is pretty much fine, but will need to be blended. The bumper/grille have not been painted so they will need the proper prep work yet.

So far I can't get an estimate below $800.

Dang 800 is pretty steep. I had my front bumper and Mirko painted the same time for 200 bucks with very minor body work from Roz's in ssp. I could get you more info if you're interested Doug
