Hey guys, just moved to the twin cities a few weeks ago. Have yet to attend a Contour chapter meet since buying my Contour to replace my 99 Cougar this past Janurary. Valley Fair for meet location sounds great. Do we have a confirmed head count?

We are pretty close to being organized but not quite ready for friday. Perhaps if we shoot for the following friday (5th) we will have a better turnout. In the interest of actually meeting, I am going to start the list for the 5th for sometime in the late afternoon. Throw down either valleyfair or MOA as your meeting preference and we can decide acordingly by next friday.

Sorry guys, not going to be able to make it. Left the Contour in Caledonia this week to use my father inlaw's truck to move furniture up to my new place. Once I get setteled in the end of this month, it will be alot easier to make it to meets.

What time shall we meet? It looks like the top level of MOA is the place to do it.

Where: Mall of America (MOA), top level of the East side parking lot (furthest lot from Cedar Ave./77)

Why: To figure out who all owns a CSVT in Minnesota and is cool enough to show up

Why: To figure out who all owns a CSVT in Minnesota and cruise University Ave after we all eat some grub at some restaurant(TBD)

*Assuming no rain and that this time works for most people

Awesome, personally Sunday would be better for me. I get off work at 3pm and I work at the airport so I will be up there anyways. This would be a good opportunity to meet all of ya'll. I hope Sunday works for everyone else. Otherwise, Saturday I am off at 5pm, so ya'll might still be there by the time I make it. I dunno, I have never done this before.

I vote option 2 assuming there will be a decent amount of contours there

This sounds like it would be a good time, unfortunately I'm busy this weekend. Hopefully there's another one this summer. I'm not from MN but none of the WI meets happen anywhere near where I live.

I'd prefer Saturday myself. Voted, but cannot see results.

I'd hit up fishing too, but not with this crap weather. I'd sooner cruise in the rain with my car then fish in it.

Anyhow I don't think anyone will be out cruising on Sat. night down on University Ave, but we can hang out and grab some food anyhow.

Just like catching them....and I am "in" with the DNR. I can transfer anything you own (cars, boats, trailers, atv's, snowmobiles)into my name and there is nothing you can do about it.....bwahahahahahahahahahaahhaa. And what else do you expect me to catch on a lake called Bass Lake? LOL.

Where is Bass lake? I killed the bass on the Iron Range last summer but have yet to find a good spot in the metro for the LMB or SMB. I will check the DNR website too.

it is a little lake on highway 4 near biwabik. Not a lot of walleye in it but a decent amount of bass, crappies and northerns.

Woohoo! That makes three. No...not this weekend. im game, i just picked up a 98' csvt. In the process of doing a 3l swap right now. Should have it done early next week. Lets figure out a date and get this planned!

Alright...well if we were to do this next week, how many of ya'll would be able to make it? I would prefer next Friday the 23rd and the next best date would be Sat the 24th. Those are the best dates for me...but I am just one person.

Well one other note worth bringing up... lets not forget the delights of Twin Cities traffic on Friday during rush hour. I'm thinking I should be able to get through the crap in an hour or so, but I'm not sure where everyone else is coming from. Just something to think about.

I work 82nd and 35W... I just take American across.

I will be leaving mahtomedi at about 5 o'clock, so I should be there between 5:30 and 6:00. But I don't mind hanging out for a while if the meet starts later.

I might have to work until 6:00 or close, so I may be a few minutes after. I have minimal travel, fortunately.

I may just actually be able to make it. I'm coming from Rochester, so luckily I wont have too much city traffic to deal with. What is the final time set for?

Well it's going to be close for me. Currently my car is sitting in the garage with only the new flywheel torqued on to the engine. Work gave me a free day because I busted my butt earlier in the month, so I'm taking tomorrow off. My dad is actually going to come out to my house tomorrow morning around 9am so I am hoping that I will be able to get her done. Plus as an added bonus I think I'm going to get my headers put on throughout this clutch project. So obviously the goal is to get my car finished by 5:30pm and get out to the MOA by 6:30-7pm. Well...unfortunately I will not be able to make it after all... I decided on the date when I still had Friday's off, but now the schedule changed and I am working Fridays and I was unable to get a shift trade with anyone. Oh well...we should put another one together for July, that would be tight, and I will be sure to be there. Take some pics and put em up on here or something
