Planning a meet on January 21st 200. We are planning on holding it in Iowa City. If there is someone that lives there and can accomodate enough people voice in.

Tim, like I told you, I may be there. I have a couple things to fix on my car, and if that gets done, my chances of being there will increase.

Check that. I WILL NOT be going. I looked past an obligation I have that weekend.

Iowa City eh... where is that in Iowa? I suppose I could look it up on the net, but I'm being lazy. If I came I would be coming from the Twin Cities area in MN.

Thanks for doing that I actually just looked it up myself as well. Not to shabby it's only a 4hr 44min drive from my hometown at 294.18 miles one way. I might just have to swing down to this. Is there an agenda setup for this?

I'm only 45 min. away from there so anymore info would be great!

i live in iowa city and would love to meet a bunch of new car guys. im hoping this is still going on this saturday. if anyone needs help getting around iowa city or finding anything interesting i can help

unfortunately the meet has been canceled due to lack of planning and time.

we are trying to reschedule, i guess.

Is there any interest in this anymore? Id be interested in meeting in Iowa City this spring if i can make it back from school for the weekend.

If this is still gonna go on, id be in for it as well! Sometime in april or somethin? Any info would be awesome! Just keep us updated!

we might be having a get together sometime in may when its decent out. it might even be a mod meet, some of us have some decent piles of parts that need to be installed asap.

I'm looking forward to this too. How many of us are close the the Iowa City or Cedar Rapids area or are willing to drive here?

i live in iowa city and i know there are plenty of neco guys who are less than an hour away so we need to get this planning going

something next week would be excellent.

Summer would be better... or i could drive the DD i guess... Either way plan it a way in advance (just pick A day and time) so that everyone can plan on it. Always ends up being 4 or 5 maybes that lead to no meet.

i hope you are all still planning on meeting in Iowa City as its only a 20min. drive from my house ( keep this going id like to see a meet near my house)

cougar owners are lazy right now, but the weather is starting to look up so who knows when it will be.

Anyone still interested in this? Does anyone from Cedar Rapids know if people are still doing cruise ins at the westside autozone?

I dig the idea. If we can find out where we (Iowa members) are then it'll be alot easier to plan.

you mean Advanced Auto Parts? if yes, then yea every thursday they have a huge car meet up there. You live in CR?

there have been talks of an adventureland meet in june. im tenative at the moment for that though.

new meet being set up for the 18th of June at Adventureland in Des Moines, IA.

I'm up for an Adventureland trip. Haven't been there for years.

I should also be coming, that date is on a sunday so I already have the day off.
As long as nothing comes up I should be able to attend.

I'm from Cedar Rapids. The adventureland meet might work for me. I'll probably be going to advance auto parts on thursdays that im free too.

Awesome! didn't think that there was anyone from CR on here. i might hit up advance in two weeks from now since i have to work this coming thursday.
