Well all you texas peeps and oklahoma peeps, lets get together and have a meet.
We could all hang out for the day and have a goodtime. I was thinking we could have this in july sometime towards the middle of the month.
I was thinking we could have this in dallas so I can get a #5 at kellers.
So if anyone wants to do this let me know by posting.
Its been to quite around these parts. Its almost like the CEG is dying in our area.

I think that's a good idea! There's actually a slim chance we might be able to go too!
We've got free tickets to Six Flags and we were trying to decide when to go. They have to be used by end of Sep. We were thinking either spring or early fall (to avoid the heat and crowds). I think we've pretty much missed the spring "window", and Fall is going to be pretty full too, so we may just have to squeeze it in when we can. We'd also like to go to Malibu Speedzone. For anyone that hasn't been, that place is a BLAST! I've heard so much about Keller's, I gotta try a #5 too!
That may all be too much to try to cram in to one weekend, and I'm maxed out on vacation days, but we'll see. 'Course we wouldn't be able to bring the 'tour, cuz for that kinda trip, we'd have to bring the truck to bring all our crap!
Anyways, it sounds like fun. Maybe things will work out so that we can come.
PS: Oh yeah! When I saw Static's post, I realized that the 4th is on a Friday. 3 DAY WEEKEND! Might not be the best time to go to Six Flags, but it would work well to have a GTG.

Hey, I rarely peruse this forum, but I saw a post about a get together. What dates are you talking about doing? I have to time it so I'm not in the Field or on duty, but I would like to make it. I know I would get a 4 day weekend on the 4th of July if that is possible. That way I could go as far as Dallas area or even a little farther.
There'd have to be beer of course, and maybe a place to race would be nice too.

I was originally thinking of just going straight south on 75, but it probably makes more sense to go through OKC and "caravan". (more fun too. ) You can hitch a ride with me if you need to.

Well, I've got a major dilemma.
I just found out my buddy's little girl is having her 1st birthday party on the 19th. If it were anyone else, I wouldn't even worry about it, but this is a pretty good friend, and his wife and my wife used to work together, so they're really good friends too. It's not a matter of where I would rather be, I just sorta feel obligated to go.
I still haven't decided what I'm going to do. No offense, but if it's only going to be a trip to Keller's I'll have to back out. (not that I wouldn't love to go!) Are there any plans yet for anything before meeting at Keller's? (I suggested Malibu Speedzone earlier, but that's just a suggestion)

There was some badtour talk of going out to Malibu speedzone. Just keep in mind with Kellers that minors aren't allowed on the premesis. However, I'm 19, and I didn't have anyone really harass me while I was there at the last mini-meet. The waitress was rather hot, too, and that one chick with the belt...

It's shorter distance to go straight south, but it's almost as fast to go through OKC, cuz it's all interstate. But if it's just one car coming from OKC, I think I'd rather go straight south. I think Ryan posted earlier that he would go down 69/75 directly from Muskogee. Maybe we can meet him somewhere along the way.

Ok me and my friend Andy are going for sure in our SVTs and my other friend might take his SVT depending on if his car is out of the shop by then, he is getting a 3.0 installed hopefully it will be done by then.
