Is he AWOL? Haven't seen any posts from him.

If your still around, I have a question for you. What did you say was causing your secondaries to cut out? Would that also cause it to stall at stop lights?

On my car I have a dealer receipt from the previous owner that indicated the IMRC Control unit was replaced b/c secondaries weren't opening and there was another receipt that indicates the IMRC wiring harness had rubbed through on the engine causing secondaries to fail to open.

Stalling could be any number of things but based on my reading seems to be linked to the IAC or EGR fairly often.

If the IMRC wasn't working, wouldn't they be off all the time? Mine will shut off while driving, and will work again when I restart it. Jason had the same problem, but I can't remember what he said it was. I will probably replace the IAC and EGR and see if that helps the stalling. Thanks!

It's heat. Take off the plastic cover and it should help a bit.

As for the stalling, if it happens all the time try this. Unplug the maf and drive around for a bit. This throws the computer into a stock map for the maf. The O2's will remain functional. If this improves it you need to clean your maf or get a new one.

where could I purchase a few maf plug? I'm convinced mine is screwed (again)...do I need to buy that whole wiring harness or is it possible to buy just the plug?

Well maybe i have to clean mine, sometimes when i am coming from high rpms to a quiker stop my car will stall. usually that is the only time it does it, somtimes it will bounce a little in lower rpms but as long as it wasent a hard stop, it recovers. also it hasent done it latly but when it does it, it can happen like 3 or so times in just like a 15 min drive.. any ideas??

thanks,

No kidding a printer? I assume you do offset? I run digital presses here in Phoenix.

As for the stalling under decel. It could mean you have a rich spot or perhaps lean in your maf curve. Is it an aftermarket?

No it should be stock, unless prior owner put aftermarket one one, both bank 1 & 2 are reading lean.

oh I Print on Vuteks for Creative Color as of now Merging with Ferrari Color in CA. I print billboards, banners, vehicle wraps, and stuff like that

I saw him last night. He was at the Pavillions on his Harley. His motor is here so the rebuild can begin. The S/C still needs to be repaired however.

Yeah, I am still here. I have been on a hiatus, due to the demise of my 2.5L some months ago. My 3.0L is currently being built and should be ready by October sometime... I am really excited about it. It feels like forever since I have driven it.
