I saw it when I was out by the CONTOUR talking to my friend. It came crawiling out from under my sisters Sundance. My neighbor had a trantula (sp?) in her driveway earlier so I had to go rescue her. They feel so weird crawiling on your arm! The salamander was pretty neat too. For something as small as it was, its legs were pretty strong. You could feel the pressure on your hand when it was crawling. Its skin was ice cold, it was barely moving when I caught it. After it had been inside for awhile, it started moving around quite a bit. I put it in the ground cover by a rock in the front yard. That way, when I get in my CONTOUR I wont drive over it by accident.

So that could be counted as UT is cooler then AZ, or....

I've got some! Utah is cooler because it has its own beaches that surround salt water.

Said lake is the largest salt water lake in North America.

Arizona held out till later (because they suck), waiting until Feb. 14, 1912, making it the 48th state. Just in numbers we own you. All you own is Alaska and Hawaii. So you are third to the end. AK, HI, and AZ all share borders with either the ocean or another country. That is just begging to be invaded! You have to worry about Mexico, Alaska has to worry about Canada, and, during a cold winter, invasion from Russia. That doesn't even bring into the subject of invasion from sea people, something which I think Hawaii should be very worried about!

Our cobras- well lets just say that we dont have to worry about power. most average about 500HP and 500 FTlb.

Ive driven several with different power ratios- but lets just say that they weigh about 2300lbs and have 500HP.

0-60 in about 3.5 sec and quarters in the 10's. Thats the 427 coilover cars. we just got in an engine- lets run over the specs- 289 Hi-Po with AFR heads and a quartet of Weber 48mm IDA carbs. redline is about 7600 RPM and HP is close to 500. now thats my dream motor. in a coilover 289 FIA car. heres a pic of a similar engine,
and the car:

A 289 with almost 500hp. You must know magic!! I didnt think it was possible to get that much power without forced induction in such a small motor. My truck NEEDS one of those.

I am building a 400"+ 351w for my cougar this winter. Picked up the pistons on Saturday! I am shooting for 500-600 horse with a mild cam on pump gas! Tons of fun...I will post pictures of these pistons...OMFG they are beautiful!!! Wiseco 4.040 bore flycut and fitted for SB chevy 6" rods!

It is a true 289 small block - the "magic comes from the AFR heads and valve train and the cam and intake setup- and as far as 351 W vs C they are both incredible engines- you can get as you stated 5-600 horses out of a mildly tuned windsor all day lonng- the cleveland its a much more temperamentle motor- it also has some oiling isues but those sould not be a problem unless you race it- but it does have cross bolt mains. the windsores are terrific motors that have abundant parts and terrific spec outputs with resonable costs-
my dream motor for one of our FIA cars is actually even if I stated otherwise above a 351 W with weber 48mm IDA's and nice internals to be able to spin it close to 9000 rpm and get around 600hp.
