Thanks for the heads up on these g2g's!

The last part I'm waiting for, before I reassemble my car, is supposed to be here by next week.

I'm sick of crap being backordered.... 1/2 of which were/are from Ford.

Yeah, no problem, we would like to see you guys (and NECO) 'out' there with us. I think combining our events and G2G's can do nothing but good.

BTW, if anyone has any input on this at all, as far as a preference for Friday night Feb 3rd or Saturday Feb 4th, post here or on the focaljet on this thread:

http://forums.focaljet.com/newreply.php?do=newreply&noquote=1&p=5331635

There is still some debate on which day amongst those guys, although it does look more in favor of Friday night at the moment.....

I can't get the focaljet page to open up...

Where is this gonna take place?
I'm off Friday so if someone wants to pick my ass up I'm down to hang out with you guys. Car isnt gonna be ready for another couple weeks at least. I'm at 19th Ave & Greenway if that helps.

Just curious, how late do you guys stay out? I have to be at work at 8:30 Saturday morning, so I need at least 20 minutes of sleep.

Also, the FocalJet site says that you need to be logged in? I may sign up anyways, but if you could put a little bit more specifics over here for those who arent signed up that would help alot.
FocalJet's site it all screwy with me. I try to sign up and it says it has sent a confirmation email to me, but I never get anything. Then on the "retrieve password" thing, it just spins me in circles going nowhere. Anyone else have this problem?
We are going to meet up between Petco and barnes&noble off of Happy valley and I-17 At 8:00p.m. Then we are going to take I-17 to carefree Highway. Carefree to Wickenburg. Then north up Yarnell Mountain turn around then back down to Vulter Mine road to I-10.That's basically it besides the restroom breaks and to fillup. Hopefully we have 13 cars going so far!

im off friday i might join, if i do come would you like to ride with me azbobbybooshay10? there is only one problem idk where these places are, i havnt lived here long.
Thats not too far from me. Could someone pick me up at home, at 19th Ave & Greenway? I don't have any transportation to Happy Valley. My cell is (602) 367-1475, my name is Bobby. I really wanna get out (I haven't hardly been out of my house in 4 months outside of work, had no way to get around), and I always love mountain cruises.

I had no idea the Focaljet would give you guys grief, sorry about that and from here on I'll not paste the links here, it just confirms that I need to keep you guys up to date. Here's some of the posts copied from focaljet:

As I mentioned, ...... it would just be a friday night drive, and meeting in North Phoenix works out pretty well, (the shopping complex on the east side of I-17 at Happy Valley Road, in the lot in front of the Petco). --further details here are that you exit I-17 @ Happy Valley road, on the East side (if you're going north, a right) and all that you see is this Happy Valley Town Center (Walmart, Circuit City etc), the first lot you can pull into off Happy Valley Road is the lot with a Barnes & Noble on one side and the Petco on the other, we should be in that lot since it's usually not very crowded. Look for a suspicious gathering of Focus Fanatics.... :-)

To reiterate, the friday night run will be Phx to Wickenburg, Wickenburg to Yarnell Hill, back down the hill to the Vulture Mine cut off just short of Wickenburg, Vulture Mine road to I-10, and I-10 back to Phoenix.

No incidents allowed.

Hm... I might be interested. I have Fridays off and Resa gets off work at 2:30. I'll check our finances. I might need to print off a MapQuest on how to get there... Bobby, check NECO tomorrow, I'll send you a PM and tell you if we're coming or not.

Edit: Or give me a call 760-521-3249 (I'm Josh, like I need to remind you... ) sometime Thursday before 2PM/Friday anytime, Bobby. I'll let ya know if we're coming.

sorry guys i lied i have to work this friday, i would have loved to come. hopefully next time i can make it out, i really wanted to go too. stupid frys electronics.
OK, so how far up Yarnell do you guys go? Almost all the way to Prescott or just up the first hill? I've never been up there, but I looked at it on a map and there's two different "twistie" parts. One down towards the bottom near Congress/Yarnell and one closer up to Prescott.

BTW, if Josh (Aeglos) comes I'll ride with him. If not I'll give you a call Rodewaryer. He'll know tomorrow afternoon for sure.

Does anyone have a video camera, or do you guys not record your mountain runs? I always love mountian cruise videoes, plus I'd love to have something to help make course-notes on for future reference.

Damn! I love that road from Wickenburg to Prescott.... it's been about 10 years since I last rode it (never driven it).

Do you have different rims and work at the Frys off I-17 & Thunderbird? If so... I've seen your car there. I'm actually planning on running by there tomorrow during my lunch break.

Not sure how well the video would work at night but that's always a good idea, I suppose if you're good with one it would work.

We only plan to top Yarnell itself since this was planned as a short "friday night" run. We'll wait for everyone and then head back down.

Sounds like there are actually quite a few CEG'rs in Phoenix, anyone know how many Az owners are registered here on the forum?

I'm in Yuma, hence why this isn't exactly esy for me.

And being so far away, and having two people living on single Marine pay (we just got married, still doing paperwork to get paid as married), Resa and I don't have the funds to come tomorrow. Sorry guys. I guess I'll have to catch you all at the Tucson meet in March (any more thoughts on doing Hot Import Nights in San Diego instead/as well?)! Sorry.

It was great seeing no less than 3 (or was it 4) CEG'rs, that was a pretty good showing (remember we had 14 cars and 3 bikes). So many it provided us with new challenges keeping everyone together. It was worth waiting for you guys/gals from Tucson, thanks a lot for coming up.

I apologize for the breakdown and some of the holding back for the new guy but I really didn't want to push that 1000cc motorcycle 'new guy' very hard, and this way the only casualty was the alternator in my Focus. I will make a run one of these days without incident (this is two in a row for me, both electrical).

Just an FYI, I had put on a set of Pirelli Corsas, which I have recently put on an old set of rims. Whilst I couldn't see very well going up Yarnell hill since the battery light came on every time I turned on the stock fogs. The tires were still brilliant and I think they had quite a ways to go to find their limits. They were very confidence inspiring especially on the way down the hill, and the front Baers held up very well, drove fairly hard down the hill and experienced no fade.
