Just wondering if there is anyone here in Utah that has had their stock Y-Pipe modified? If so where did you have it done, and what was the cost?

I've decided to go with the MSDS Headers ($200), their gaskets/install kit ($50), their MIL elimators ($50), and shipping ($25) which puts me at $325. Then I was going to have HP Coatings in Bluffdale coat them for $155. Which will make the headers $480.00. Then have the stock Y-Pipe modified.

Or I can get the MSDS kit with the y-pipe and Jet hot coating for $700. Is the $220 extra, keeping in mind that I will have to pay someone to modify the stock Y-Pipe, worth it to get the new Y-pipe with coating? Or should I stick to the option of having someone modify my Y-Pipe?

It's a PIA to modify the stocker. You're better off with the aftermarket.
and dont waste your time with MIL eliminators - especially for $50. Do the Mechanical fix for around $8 and be done with it.
Yep...there is a guy in provo that'll do it...he did mine.

He does a pretty good job...His name is Dale and he owns Quality Muffler on the old State St. I don't have his number off hand but look it up in the phone book. He did that for me and put a pipe in where the cat was for about 60 bucks I think. I was a little while back, but he did cut off the flange. No big deal though.

Tell him Taylor sent you...he knows who I am...he did my turbo piping too.
