I just went out for lunch and its already like 93 degrees. Expecting record highs today, its kind of ridiculous if you ask me.

I KNOW MAN! ug! what a bad day to get sick, nothing like sweating because you are sick, then sweating double time when you go outside because its mega hot. I went home and took a bunch of cold meds.

Working at Papa John's our AC went out every other week, it was always because of a fuse or something stupid, but because of company policy we couldnt fix it ourselves, we would have to call a specialist that would take a week to get to the place, take him an hour to fix it, then the AC still would take forever to cool off the building. I remember it was 92 degrees outside, I walked into papa johns, it was 96 in there, and 104 by the oven (OF COURSE I worked the oven) I almost passed out 3 times while cutting pizza. Im so glad I work in an office with a bunch of metapausal women, we leave the A/C set at 60 degrees in the testing department and 70 in the office
I actually got cold inside the building today

I work at belle tire and one of the cars I was in read 105 inside the garage.
We also have no fans. Myself and another tech decided to bring our own in, but it really isn't enough. I am calling OSHA tomorrow.

it was 98 at 4pm downtown today. blech. and i had to do a lot of walking downtown.

Yeah the shop I work at Melling Tool Co. was up to 117 at about 1:30 ( thank God I have an AC'd office!) They decided to let the floor guys go at 1:15 they get out at 2...gotta love management!

and check this out, on my way to work today, the A/C in my car was blowing cold and I was getting condensation on the inside of the windshield and when I got out of the car to get gas, the glasses fogged up immediately

Try swapping out seats in this weather I was literally DRIPPING with sweat last night. I'm used to this heat, but the humidity is another thing.

It's taken me a while to actually get used to a house with a/c, but either way, I'm not complaining.

I made the mistake of driving my Cougar on Monday, no a/c, racing harnesses strapped on, and its black this year. It was a HOOOOOT and long day. Then yesterday and today I've been in various Ford supplier plants setting lines up, and its at least 110 in each of them, the one I was in yesterday made it to almost 120 and they sent the workers home early because ppl were starting to pass out.
And of course, I get to walk between the office and shop constantly, so I get the shock of 75 degree office, to 120 degree shop, and back again, yuk.
