Rawburt is right, Ebay is your best bet. An unlocked phone on there is cheaper than any phone you're going to buy from Verizon.

Buy from a powerseller off Ebay.

When my first phone broke halfway through my plan, I bought a brand new LG VX6100 that was still pretty cool at the time for $150 shipped and that came with a leather case, car charger, plus more. Ebay can get you some real good deals.
