Ok everyone it's almost July time to plain for the July meet.
Where do we want it to be this year.
Remember everyone this is a OHIO meet not Michigan I read a while back there was a plain for a Ohio/Michigan meet. So where in Ohio do we want this to be in?
Ok, guys lets get this going I hope to have a bigger turn out this year.
I say Ashland would be a good place because if anyone wants to drag there is a dragway 20 minutes away from here and plenty of places to meet (empty parking lots restaurants etc.) I don't have any clue how Columbus is. So everyone who is up for this meet?
This will be held on July 29th or 30th either day works for me.

Dangit, thanks Rog I didn't notice that I was gonna edit the post and I learned you can't do that with a poll in it so I just copied and pasted so I didn't have to retype the whole thing.

We could do a Toledo meet and maybe get some Michigan guys down this year too, I'm 2 hours from Toledo. I'd love to see attendance up from last year. We had 5 Contours and 1 SHO last year 4 of the Contours were SVTs and I was the only Mystique.

If we do a Toledo meet, I'm sure Bonnie, Me, and possibly my brother would go (all SVT's). I'm still considering Ashland as well

Toledo is a couple hours..but i would prolly be willin if a nice crowd shoed up, if not Toledo, last years was nice at QSL with the car show.
How far is Ashland from Toledo? I don't mind going off of the beaten path for this meet, just curious. I just thought if it were an easy on, easy off you might get more people from our area to go, gotta make it as easy as possible

Ashland to Toledo is about 2 hours w/out taking the turnpike if you take the turnpike it's about 1.5 hours.
Toledo and count me in... Ashland and I'd have to think about it.
I'll tell you where theres we need to go, the Arbys in Norwalk. The entire restaraunt is decorated in automobilia. Its on 250, right off the Turnpike, no problem, been there, done that. What do you Ohio guys think about that
If thats a problem though, Toledo still works for me and like I said, would probably get more Michigan guys to go.
Looks like we're getting a convoy...me, Rawburt, Brendan...anyone else. BTW, since its a convoy, we need a copy of C.W. McCalls 70's classic "Convoy"

Anyhow that Arby's sounds like a good idea, I love Arby's cheddar cheese roast beef sandwich. 
Shoot if we go to Toledo we could go to Max and Erma's I love Max and Erma's.

Oh man, looks like the SVT will be hitting the turnpike again. Last time the front wheel fell off somewhere between Sandusky and Norwalk
I live about 10 minutes south of the turnpike entrance off of 71, anyone coming North can meet at/around my house

Too far for me. Plus I'm busy.
That sucks. I'm hoping to make it out, my car has a slight overheating problem and I need new tires and to fix my problem, before I travel anywhere to far. So If I get tires by then I'll certainly make it if I get the time off work.
