Driving out of my driveway an older lady a couple houses down flags me down motioning for me to wait a minute as she comes over.

So I wait...

conversation as follows...

OL: "When are you going to get your exhaust fixed?"
B: "It is fixed.. there's nothing wrong with it."
OL: "But it is louder than most cars?"
B: "Yep"
OL: "Oh, OK" walking away probably shaking her head...

I might have to drop the exhaust and run my dump for a couple days.

yes sir i will be.

i have confidence in the nittos on the street. plus, i won't be trying to leave at 5K either...

they will be put to the test on sat against a certain awd blue jellybean.

OMFG FAWK YOUR OLD CAR! What a hack job man that thing was the biggest PITA to pull the motor out of! It is seriously the 'lil bastard' of all contours!

I won't disagree with you. I never really saw how bad it was myself or had any experiences with it, but anyone who has worked on it has told me all about it.

But pulling the trans and headers off was so easy; especially when the headers bolts were hand tight. And the trans was easy because, of the 4 bolts that held it on, only one was properly torqued.

Successfully removing a trans with a 3/8 wrench and 13MM deep well =

Stazi put the headers on. The trans was done by a shop in Troy that isn't open any more.

those pos bolts on the y-pipe with square nuts were awesome! along with the dust cover where the TOB goes on the trans that was missing... nothing like looking at your clutch through the engine bay...
