Got rearended on the way home! car is still drivable and it looks mostly cosmetic, however the exhaust is even more F'ed!

I'm OK... my pride hurts a little more though. This sucks.

I'm fine, I actually was moving when it happened. The guy was on his cell and saw the light turn green and from a distance and thought I was moving faster then I was... I never even saw him coming up in my rearview otherwise I would've punched it. oh well.

sounds like insurance needs to replace the mufflers anyway, because they were perfectly servicable before . . . all you really needed to replace before was one section of pipe . . .

I've put to much time & money to just give up on it... no matter how much I want my old car back.

I spoke with my insurance company this morning, they are working on getting things squared away. I need to gather up all my receipts for when I take it into the claim center.

Dama Mark, they say bad luck always comes in threes. Ask any of the Chicago guys, I just went through it at the beginning of the tear. That includes losing the 3L in a bon fire, with no marshmellows to roast while waiting for the troopers to arrive....

The insurance adjuster came out today and my total estimate was a smidge over $2k (minus $500 deductable which is paid by the offending party...)

Well you figure the rear bumper alone is like 1k new. Hopefully you can find one.

Bent up exhaust pipe
Broken Mufflers
A few bent hangars
Bent DS toe arm
Rear bumper is cracked
the DS taillight and panel are slightly pushed in
The rear reflector is loose, I didn't even notice that, the inspector did.
