You can't miss it. It's the last exit before the M-14/I-96 East interchange.

About 5-6 miles north of I-94.

Well Pete, the last two meets actually had FOUR cars at them, so that why I said that. The one thing I'm worried about though is this, the weather is going to be cold and that should net alot of cars, but the drive is more than 1/2 hour away, so I don't know what to expect

south and east siders meet at the Steak and Ale at 9:30am on Ann Arbor Rd, just off I-275, then on to denny's at twelve oaks by 10:30, then on to the meijers parking lot (by bennigans) in okemos/east lansing at noon.

It is right at the f*ckin exit. Almost in the parking lot of twelve oaks, when coming from the east and getting off at the Novi exit. Just turn right, if I recall you can see it from the on ramp.

I think its the UM Dearborn Wolves.

They are governed by the same regents and are connected in some ways more then others. They compete against each other for state funding, etc. I had season football tickets as a student at UM Dearborn. I was paid by Ann Arbor when I worked for UM Dearborn. I would hardly call it the red headed step child. Yes they are not completely intertwined, which I would say is a good thing.

All of my classes at UM Dearborn were taught by PHDs, usually in class sizes of about 20 people. When I attended MSU my classes were often several hundered people in size and tought by a grad student.

All of Michigans public universities are good schools.

Not sure I am going to this meet or not. I would like to but I have to go out of town and might be leaving that day. Seems like a good one though.

Yeah, I finally got them in in July. The rears were a breeze, but the front springs are freakin' tall, took some fancy fanaglin' to get them on. I did them in WV and drove back up to Flint, Cedar Point, E.L. lots, back to WV, back to Southgate, then to Chicago. I'm testing them out well and I'm pretty happy with them. They are way better than my blown out SESport ones and handled Flint so they've been a good upgrade. Thanks again Rog.

It faces Hall Road and IIRC that new Andiamo restaurant is next door to it. It's pretty easy to spot, don't worry.

Found two. These are on KontoFoSHo's turbo SVT. They are silver with midnight blue outline. They look brighter than they really are cause of flash/ dark tint.

This was taken about 6 months ago, however we use a diffrent material now. Its firmer, flatter, and more durable.

Ok, the Macomb people are meeting at Lakeside (let's try to leave there by 9:30) and go to the Denny's at 12 Oaks Mall in Novi by 10:30 am to meet the Downriver guys--then we all head to the actual meet in East Lansing (Okemos, really, but that's not the point).

Macomb guys, do you think 1 hour will be enough time to get from Lakeside to 12 Oaks??

just so we're clear... it's certainly not a fear of hurting it b/c of losing control. his previous mustang ran ten's, so it's not that at all. it's a matter of a) wanting to keep the car pristine (and it is. the car is literally flawless) and b) not wanting to spend time cleaning it. he barely finds time to do a lot of things that he wants to, so he'd rather not dick around with extra maintenance for no reason.

i'm not so sure why this is so hard for you to understand stazi... he's got a bunch of cars, so why drive the performance car in the rain?

let me put it this way....

if you have a versace suit, you're not going to wear it to mow the lawn are you? (it's not like you can't wash it if it gets dirty!)

I will be 17 in a little over a month. this will be my first road trip, and if my mom would let me take it alone, I would definately give it a shot, I understand how to read maps completely, so even if I get lost I can find my way fairly easily. I have FULL Yahoo map directions down to Lansing, a full Michigan atlas, and michigan road map in my car. as well as a cell phone. IM fairly well prepaired.

If you have a basement where you could paint something yourself, you could easily paint them.

I scratched-up and gouge a set of sideskirts once, and I just sanded them, filled the gouge with bondo, sanded again, and painted and clearcoated them in my basement and it looked spot on!

Duplicolor makes the exact paint color for our cars in a rattle-can and clearcoat too, so you can do it without having to pay through your nose to have it done.

Well, it doesnt look like im going to be making it down. My friend's mom is PMSing, so she changed her mind and now he cant go. and my mom says I cant go if he cant, she doesnt want me going alone. ESPECIALLY since there is a football game going on down there around this time. So as usual, im screwed again. This actually doesnt surprise me since crap like this always happens when I plan stuff. About your folks, here's another opinion to throw into the hat. Just try to make your mom understand that you were really looking forward to this event, and most importantly be honest. Tell her you're going to meet a bunch of people who will be drivng up with you to EL. Also, make it profitable for yourself, tell her that if everything turns out alright, that she should loosen up a bit, since you're growing up and soon will have to make adult decisions w/o her sheltering hand. And if she really doesn't agree, then I guess it's up to you. I would go, only if pros outweight the cons. There will be a lot of meets other than this one, and you really don't want her to hold grudges for the future meets. Christ, you should have seen my mom when I first got the car, and mind you I was friggin' 20 yrs old..heh. She would freak out if I went to Meijer's at 11pm to buy some Red bull.

Since this meet will also be a flea market, I thought I would throw up some thing that i may need if anyone has it hanging around and wants to make some extra dough:
1.) HU, yup got sick of wave CDs and it not working on the oem cd player, so im looking for an el cheapo HU, no mp3 fancy pancy junk, just a reliable cheap HU.
2.) K&N intake-i can buy the filter, but if someone has one sitting around and perhaps a MAF adapter. Also, if anyone has the stock svt intake case, I may want to buy this so i can fabricate the K&N in the case.
3.) SVT exhaust-this is probably number one on my list if anyone has. (too lazy to put it as number one on the list)

Or any other exhaust system that would suit a N/A stock 2.5L w/a bat filter.

Mide as well, your front bumper needs to be repained anyways. You could likely do it yourself if you sat down and spent a lot of time on it.

I'm basically on a family mans budget, wish my wife could/would work. 1 car no one to baby sit our 2 little girls. I'll roll with the punches until my time comes.

It was still a good turnout and a great meet even thought some a$$holes stole my stuff. I will be back and more crazier mods than ever.

It's perfect down here. Actually a lotta places like mcdonalds and stuff won't have enough sugar sometimes. Yankees (and australians) just don't have right taste buds or something. And we don't have teeth because we don't brush our teeth enough and we probably have more domestic disputes (unreported ones) that result in knocked out teeth, yankees still have "pop", coffee, and candy,, just more know how to use a toothbrush.

Thats what I'm sayin' Stazi, but these guys take it the way they make it and when I tried it, it was ok, but tasted alot different than what I'm used to, thats for sure.
