So today I was driving through Scranton somewheres by the Steamtown Mall, and this guy in a Silverado is leaning out his window trying to get my attention. After he gets it, he tries to sell me wheels from another SVT Contour, probably E1 wheels, and he said they had snow tires on them. I like my E0's.

Anyone else ever have someone try to sell them something via driving?

No, and that would've scared me a bit.

This is the 2nd time something like this happened. The last one was when I had a Hyundai Accent. Some dude in a work van tried to sell me speakers. Lol.

Both times I felt a little unsafe.

Actually, now that you mention it, some dude did try to sell me speakers (home stereo) while I was driving thru Cranberry Mall parking lot. Must have been because he heard my system. It was kinda shady tho, I definately felt they were stolen. Wierd.

"My boss put too many speakers in our van" ... yup , I've been approached about buying speakers before - a couple times , actually . My friend actually bought a set of home speakers off dudes like that . Pretty nice speakers , actually , but seems VERY sketchey to me . If I were him , I would've been waiting for the cops to bust down the door . It's been 15 years or so now , so I guess he's in the clear .

Did you get a phone number? I'm looking for E1s.

Seriously.

No, I didn't get a phone number. I was too concerned of finding a street to turn down and get away from him. He followed me from the Cinemark all the way to the Steamtown Mall, I was a bit nervous.

Wow, they used the SAME line to me. WTF? Like your company wouldn't notice a few missing sets of speakers.

That is kinda scary to have someone follow you and then yell out the window at you while driving.
