Hey bro, listen, when you say "horn recontent" as one of your mods, what kind of horn are you using now? Is it more European?
Thanks
Sal
Smed-Originally two horns were part of the design. There was a high-note on the driver's side and a low-note on the passenger side. Sometime during the '98 build, Ford deleted the one on the passenger side. It's easy to get to if you take down the splash shield. The wiring and connector is still there. Others have used a Fiam low-note from Pep Boys for about $10, I used a low-note horn that I had laying around. Now with the high-low combination it sounds a LOT better-I'm not embarassed when I honk!

yeah that reminded me... i was poking around under my contour once, saw the horn but wasn't quite sure that it was really the horn. so i had my 9 year old brother beep the horn. well, the little prankster lays on the horn with my head about a foot from it. well unfortunately i was crawling under the car while it was jacked up, so there was really no room when my head snapped back from the sound. ouch. hehe
