Have to wait on the beefed up subframe, but the Black tour is getting a rear end overhaul (minus the struts).

Plan to be doing a how to video on subframe replacement.

so 10k to fix your roof? Thats not doing it yourself right?

I have the underwriter working on the loan. Do you have an SVT to put up?

thats to fix my house roof and my gargae roof.
with me doing most of the work.

i got a quote of $17K to do the main part of the house, with me taking the shakes off the house before and putting them back on after!

if my barter thing works out, i just might have an SVT to put up as collateral!

I will never understand why roofing is so expensive - is it workman's insurance. What percentage of the cost is wrapped up in their insurance coverage? $17k? Gimme a break.

that includes materials which arent super cheap.
thats shingles, ice & water shield, frip edge, flashing, nails, dumpster, ridgevent or roof vents.

then you got labor for stripping and labor for installation.
then they will factor in difficulty.
my roof isnt super easy, being a 4-hip into a 2-hip.

it wont be too hard to do, but it wont be easy either.
