and i really scratched this fender!!

looks like you brushed up on something that was on fire.

You know, I shouldn't be surprised that you put flames on the hearse .. but still!

Will they be done in time for the Nats?

i have to get my arse in gear and get them done.
i want them done before my local cruise on tuesday!

it was so humid in my gargae that the fiberglass resin didnt dry completely in some spots.
plus i might not have used enough hardener.
that stuff scares me.
i used to end up with big blobs of hardened bondo everytime i worked with the stuff.

of course i didnt look at the weather and it is supposed to rain all weekend.
and that means the roof will leak right onto thehearse!
wonderful!

hopefully it stays dry in lowell all day and i can get to home depot and buy some ice & wwater sheild and get that on the roof to try and help my situation.

All I can say is...

LOVE IT !

Maybe I will go to the Nat's this year.

the cool part is, that loking at it with the paint scuffed, you can kinda get an idea of wht its going to look like when its done.
because its going to be silver and charcoal flames to match the casket.

didn't you prep the casket with pinstripe tape once?
You never ended up painting flames on it right?

but now if these look good i will paint the casket black and do the same type of flames on it.

let me look and see if i have a picture online with the flames.

for a second, I thought it was going to be the pic of my uncle in the casket at the wedding.
Him and his brother look like the walking dead. Definitely poster children for "hey kids, don't smoke or you'll look like these guys"

You know I wanted to read about and see pictures of Elky's hearse with scratches that look like flames

Then I read about Goonz's run ins with tainted curry, not exactly what I wanted to read while I was sipping my morning coffee.

But it was funny, just like any NECEG thread hijacking. I wonder how Kim would feel if I did this.......

the flames are completely masked and scuffed.
but... the moisture content of the air in my gargae is so high, the skimcoat of bondo on the leading edge of the hood wont dry!
all i have left to do is sand that area and spray some color!
blah!!!
