[rant] So, my parents came home yesterday to their front door open. Apparently the thief(ves) came in through a window in the kitchen- cut the screen, jimmied the lock open, and walked through the house, taking some cc's, jewelry, and their computer, then walked out the front door.

No word on who it was, but the cc's were used before they got cancelled.

This just sucks![/rant]

W T F!

May better be a good month because I have HAD IT with April! Too much bad news. I just can't believe it.

How did they steal the credit cards? were they in plain view, or would they have had to know where to go to get them?
That really blows.
Anything of sentimental value stolen?
I hope they have insurance to at least help somewhat.

The cc's were next to the jewelry box. They were cc's that they didn't really use, so they weren't ON them.

Some of the jewelry has sentimental value, but none of it is high end stuff.

Just sickens me that people can't leave others' [censored] alone.

To add insult to injury, the whole damn thing was witnessed, but the person didn't call the police.

Nice neighbor.
