I know the kids coming from afar would need a whole day either way to get to/from the great white north. Would it be feasible to have 3 meets in 3 cities in 3 days?

How easy is it to get from huntsville to the Nooga, though?
It's real easy to get to N-town from Huntsville, and from N-town to Chattaboogy, but I don't know. Either way, I'd prolly only go to N-town and Nooga, so it makes not a bit of difference to me.
I just like to see myself type.

Highway 72 to I24 and you run right into nooga

Chris the Steeda is working so well I think I'll need some syncros soon.... The addition of that short shifter is truly one of my favorite mods. Steve and Hector I'll line something up for this summer. This place has some of the best driving roads I've seen. There is a 15 mph "s" curve about a mile from my house that has 35 foot elevation change in it. That is the best curve I've ever driven in any car. Later Rob

As for the 3 City meet, I've given it some thought, and that hurt, so I decided to ask yet another poll question:
I hate polls and rarely make them work right, but those are the options. Think about it seriously, though. Ya'll would have to get two different hotels, and that's a lot more travelling than usual. Now that I've thought about the 3 City thing more logically, it doesn't seem feasible; but that's up to you guys. Just my $3.

There is a guy up in Tupelo with a black 98(I think?) SVT and he has a factory wing with only two mounts. Funny thing about, with no center support it is bowed down and rubs the trunklid. Looks like someone sat on it or something. Anyway, glad I could help a little.

I checked and could not find a BW in HSV. We have had such great luck at this place though, sort of hate to ruin a good thing. It is a little south of most stuff, but it is just down the road from a nice car wash, which is real important to almost all of us, and the hotel manager is just super nice.
IIRC, the rate's at the last meet were $36 for a single and $40 for a double. It's nothing fancy, but if they could put up with both of Hector's loud exhaust versions and not say a single word... That's pretty cool!!

Well I know that Hector, Steve and I have talked about some modding that can be done!
Hector needs some solid roll resistors and Steve and I talked about playing with some chrome paint.
Of course that can all be done during one of the afternoons. Maybe even Friday night, unless everyone take's off and leaves me at the hotel again to get their car washed. Leaving me with the diriest car at the meet come the next morning.

Yeah, it wasn't a great idea and no one had the heart to tell me. In retrospect, I think it would be way to much travelling and coordinating to get something like that together. Hey kids what is up? Ok so here is the dealieoh, She had to go. I was having issues with her. The clutch started going out as well as the throw-out bearing. Some mornings it would not come out of gear. The passenger side rear door wouldn't open, the driver's side door started acting up, had to open the passenger side door to unlock the driver's side to get in. It started leaking (as in water from the outside coming in). Suspension issues..and of late brakes...
Just couldn't afford it anymore. The 04 Cavalier is a pretty "arrival blue metallic" as it stands now it has ummm...200 miles on it. Payments will be less than the Mystique/month. They fought to keep me. Trade-in they gave me 2027. Blue book is 1200 if lucky. Didn't tell them all the problems. Got a GM supplier discount thru work and did my taxes and got the downpayment with it....
It is very torqie from 2-4. During the test drive, friend of mine says..."Wow it drives nice...and we haven't even gotten on it yet..." that was all it took. Took off, barked 1st, 2nd, and 3rd chirped!!!!! 4th was a hard shift! Yeah I know...this was at 15miles and I haven't pushed it like that..and won't till it is after break-in. But it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO tempting. Ummmmmmmm.....it takes off real well while in third.

Yup that is it! The hood is an SLP style. The other angles are nice too. The shot from the back across the side, nice! This is the color too!!!!

Well from what I have heard, the Z24 has the 2.4 in it. That option was deleted because they found that the 2.2 Ecotec, not the standard 2.2, has better performance. The sport packages offered for 04 only had rear wheel disc brakes, better springs, chrome wheels...etc etc, your standard sport set up...but the engine stayed the same....2.2 Ecotec.
You guys remember me getting pissed off at Ford and GM for the Ecotec at one time before? The reason was this. Their designers have done their homework. The lead tech was balsy enuff to know he had a good product, that the man actually sat with his Ecotec engine, built up, and in the actual room with the engine. I remember seeing that and getting PIZZED...If Ford would have done that, if they would have gotten in behind their product and said, hey, "we're supporting the younger racer" just like GM is doing, we would have much more support. I gotta be honest, at first, I didnt want anything to do with them, then I took the test drive, tried to find the on-star button...(Darn it is a stocker..no button..good less weight), then did my research. It has instead of the usual belt driven timing, chain driven, the tranny is supposed to be pretty freaking strong for 04...gotta do some digging to find that. But it can be a beast and there is an aftermarket for it and GM performance which is out there too!
I gotta tell ya as well, the car launches like crazy if you arent careful, plus, it is hard not to bark the gears on it...WILD stuff....oh yeah went for a drive, now up to 593 on the odometer....time to start shopping for mods. Found a 4-2-1 header for it....NICE piece of work. That is next..plus the cat back and I need to start planning it for the body kit...
Yeah, Steve, it's pretty! I actually have a car that comes close in prettiness to yours, but there can only be one "pretty blue car"...
Oh and I can't wait to get rid of the steelies with hubs....UGH

Of course they wouldn't support what it's supposed to be a family car,,, chevy is trying to market the cavy as a young car, so they will do things to target them.
