dates are sept. 27-30, w/ the actual 10-hour race taking place on saturday, sept. 30, w/ green flag at 12:30 eastern (i think). tickets are anywhere from $35 for a 1-day general admission ticket to $65 for a 4-day 'superticket', which allows paddock access, which is really cool. nothing like wandering around and getting in the way of people working on cars worth more than many small countries! fwiw, you must also pay $5 for infield parking.

see www.roadatlanta.com , www.petitlemans.com , or www.americanlemans.com for more info.

i'll be there, probably from friday night onward unless i take off work friday and come over on thursday night.

see ya there...

I posted this on the SE-CEG list a couple of weeks ago. I'm seriously interested in going to this race, and meeting fellow CEG'ers. I plan on at least getting there Friday sometime. I'll bring my lowly SE Zetec ATX with me...

Blake, you made it up there last year, huh? How busy was the race? Like, would we be able to meet up inside the track if we could pick a place? Or ya think it'd be best to meet at the McDonald's off of Grady's exit and then caravan down?

From the TV coverage I saw last year, it looked pretty packed. Seems to be a popular event -- should be sweet seeing those cars goin flying around. I'll probably just drive the day of the race. Or maybe drive up there two days in a row, but I don't feel like camping out up there.

hey perry; sorry to take so long getting back to you (those internet/email connection problems we talked about earlier...heh heh). yeah, i made it last year...and now i'm doubting whether or not i'll camp or not myself. i'll be there saturday come heck or high water, though.

as far as attendance...yeah, it's pretty darn packed. i'd say the best place to meet is around turns 7-8, where the skidpad is. there's usually a lot of empty space around there; everywhere else is really crowded. given that i'm coming from b'ham, i don't think i'll want to drive past RA to grady's exit and then backtrack...but i'm open to suggestions or whatever everyone else wants to do.

bueller? bueller? anyone?
