Open track fun. . . where can we get it? Lets start a list. The big names are obvious, but hard to get on. We'll list 'em all, small or big. City and state, and try to provide websites.

Gainesville, FL: Gainesville, FL

Jupiter, FL: Moroso Motorsports Park

Homestead/Miami, FL: Homestead Raceway

Savannah, GA: Roebling Raceway

Birmingham, AL: Barber Motorsports

Atlanta, GA: Road Atlanta

Kershaw, SC: Carolina Motorsports Park

Daytona, FL: Daytona International Speedway

Concord, NC: Lowes Motor Speedway

Belle Rose, LA: No Problem Raceway

Sebring, FL: Sebring Raceway

Talladega, AL: Talladega Grand Prix

Sourced from my knowledge, Kremit, and this website.

Feel free to add, and lets make it sticky!

Time for some on track fun! I would love to get some on track seat time in the SVT.

I can't do it any time soon, but I might make it to a track next year.

I would LOVE to get some seat time on a track. I've missed the SVTOA events at Sebring & Homestead the last few years for various reasons, but I've GOTTA do it before I die! Or sell the Mystique, whichever comes first.

Whatever arrangements, if the price is right, I'm THERE at any of those venues. I'll even drive to Tennessee to run a road course.

Im keeping my eye on the tracks close to me for upcoming events. Maybe we can substitute a trip to the Dragon with a track day.

Now that Im living at home, I have a tow vehicle so I can tow the SVT to the track and not worry about a ride home if something broke. Cool.

I carry tools & spare parts.

Well unless its close by (Gainesville), then I have quite a hike to get back if I cant fix whatever went wrong while there. Ill just rent a flat trailer, and hook it up to the Suburban (2500, 454, and 4.11 gears = tow machine).

This works in theory at least!

Gainesville is sorta small. They were doing (not sure if they still do) some 'test and tunes' that were very cheap. You'd make a lap and get back in line. But it still might could be fun.

If anything breaks on my car, I'll borrow parts off of your car since you'll have a trailer to get it home.
