i am having a bbq at my house on saturday the 18th of this month if anyone wants to come. there should be csvt's,fsvt's a few stangs, a few cougars and whoever else wants to come. all you have to do is bring your drinks, all food will be paid for by me

Best bet is for you to meet me at the I-75/I-10 junction, then I will slap you a walkie talkie and we travel North together till we drop. As far as options for sleeping, we have three. 1.) Turbo SVT Robert has an aunt in Atlanta, that may be able to lend a few couches. 2.) Ryan, said we could crash at his crib no doubt. Or... 3.) Josh, the small comodity of having me roll by your fortress of a house on the west coast will run me a costly 3 hour delay, which can more than be compensated with by you meeting me at the Turnpike and I-75 junction (The one on North Florida that is), then from there you, me, and Turbo Robert drive up and meet up with Chris at the I-10/I-75 junction, which will be the final rendezvous for Florida guys. I know what you mean bout falling asleep... sometimes it doesn't even have to do with being old or tired, just pure boredom. I used to go to Cape Coral alone almost every weekend to spend it at my Summer house and I'll tell ya, even a 2-hour trip can get cumbersome! Robert has a DVD player and he can hear movies while he drives (lucky bastard 
).
If we travel in a small group however, falling asleep will be the least thing happening as we will be entertained with the walkie talkies and cruising while viewing our cars in motion. When I started going to the Cape in groups time would just fly by as we were constantly chatting on the radios and getting caried away with the cars. I certainly think this 10-hour trip can seem like 5 when we are all said & done.
The only thing that I ask you guys is to be prepared! I am not saying go out and spend $1000 on a GPS and radar detector , just make sure you have the equipment and "emergency accessories" for all the unprecedented events .

If we drive straight through, we'd hit Macon in the very early morning hours. Like around 3 or 4 am. Depending on how many times we stop along the way for gas, food, other assorted needs. That would be my educated guestimate.

I'd be happy to have a few of you guys over for some breakfast or and a pisser, since I think you guys will be tanked on coffee and RC Thunder super-caffeine cola.

My wife has to work till about 3 o'clock but i only live in Duluth and thats only a hop skip and a jump away.
I-16 drops into I-75 directly on the north side of Macon. For the Florida People to take I-95 to I-16 to I-75 is out of the way and probably an extra 5 hours on our trip. As it is now, we'd take Florida's Turnpike to I-75 (which it drops into) up to I-10 and meet up with Chris, who'd be coming across from Tallahassee. Then continue on I-75 to Macon to meet up with the boys from Macon and you, SAV, if you can still make it. Going up I-95 is out of the way and extra driving. 12 hours straight is going to tough as it is, but adding onto that is illogical.

Well im trying my hardest to get some stuff done to the car , Got it all ripped apart today and tomorrow a full day of more parts to do. I have to wait for a few days to get the power I ordered , Its going to make this UIM look soooooo good ! I don't know if i'll even post pic's of it until I show up.

GOOD NEWS! I Got my car back...finally. Looks awesome too. Tomorrow, I'm spending the day cleaning the intake manifolds, changing the spark plugs, and changing the oil. Then...polish up some of the underhood metal and purdy stuff. Things are looking better. Just thought I'd give an update. Oh yeah, it's got to go back into the body shop for one minor thing, it'd only be in for a day. Then it gets tuned. WOOHOO!

Got my headers put on and just need my fresh oil change, fuel tank fix, res install, mystique reflector and tailight install, and some cleaning. WHOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!! Man, I'm getting tired on working on this car. Today it just ate another injector O-ring and is spilling gas on to the LIM. This after two weeks of perfect operation. Usually my uncle helps me out but he is not available tonight or Friday.

4:30AM and the car is complete ! Now the battery light is on the dash , car isnt charing .....Alt was changed about 6 months ago ..... I'm not sure what to say right now but I've busted my ass so much and now this ...I hope i can fix it fast tomorrow. If the alt is bad I'm out of this for sure . I'm hoping it's a fuse or loose wire somewhere .
I did a search on "Battery light " and found that it could be that mega fuse ,
Since i was back there messing with stuff , maybe i broke it while taking off the rear valve cover or something . I will check this first thing , although its a fairly strong fuse I really dought its broke or faulty , but thats all I can think to check . The batter light wasnt on while driving it around , then it suddenly came on so im really leaning twoards the ALT.
8:30AM and I am up bright and early at work! Packed everything into the trunk including stuff for sale, and just need a little bondo to fix a hairline mirko crack, some license plate bolts and illumination bulbs. After that a simple vaccum and I am good to go!
Josh if you drop out I wouldn't know what to say except just execute and get that shyt done!

9:07am , outside wotking on it now and the bad thing is , everything looks fine , unless there is a fuse INSIDE of the car that has to do with it not charging , Battery is dead now , wife is at work and i don't have a charger .

yes siupacooga it was a great meet,and whenever everyone else gets home there will be more pics to post and vid's. i had a blast and cant wait to host another one. and damn for some southern (and 1 northerner chad) we all got along together pretty damn good. and x i want those rims big baby.thanks everyone for coming and making it a memory to last forever in the contour archives. and yes john the sct is the best investment you can have in a csvt. and those who got to drive my car and are now wanting a sct chip or flasher,,,cumon and get it.

Ryan , that meet was awesome dude! I had a blast and honestly I wished I had to drive more to get there. I felt like a loser cause I only had to drive 20 minutes to your house haha. It was nice meeting all the new people! I didnt know CEGers were so nice!

Ryan, what can I say? The initial 11.5 hours there felt like 8, and the 12 going home (rain storm) felt like 4
. Couldn't stop thinking about the great time and unbelievable way that everyone got along and interacted. Loved the extreme travelers meeting as in me, Josh, and Chad... thus being an important highlight to the trip.
