Looking for a good shop to do maintaince, upgrades, ect... Where do most CEGers in the DC area go?
I do my own maintenance.
Yup. And stuff I can't do, I take to Ft. Wayne, IN

I've been using Royal Service Center on Quaker Lane (right off King Street) for service on mine for a few years. They don't cringe TOO hard when they see a Contour by now. It helps, though, to be very specific about what you want and how you want it done, assuming you have any opinion on it, but they're pretty receptive to learning. About as expensive as any other shop you're gonna see, but for me it's extra-convenient because I can walk there from my house in about 15 minutes or so, and the cashier station is open 24/7.
HRM Automotive on Backlick Rd. in Springfield. Not the cheapest place in the world, but we've been going to them for I believe ~15 years and they actually seem trustworthy.
I take mine to Protec in Gaithersburg when I run into something I cant do myself, ot just don't have time to bother with it. The owner is really cool and impresses me with his knoledge everytime I go there. He mainly works on SHO's but he knows alot about Contours too.

That would be Kevin. He was partnered with SP Motorsports when they were in this area.
thanks cap ceg!!
Just becareful about Protech/Kevin. He tends to overcharge.
Kevin sold the business 2 months ago - I just called them to get a quote on putting in a new SPEC Stage I plus I think I need some tranny rebuild as long as it's out. Shifter getting loose.

Any other suggestions?
I'm not sure what is schedule workload is like, but try CEGer DanG.
Look in how to, archives, and search. You can probably find write ups on just about anything on this site.
