Hey, I am planning on building a complete custom enclosure for the back of my trunk and making it completely rattle proof in the next coming weeks. Does anyone want to help me on this. I got all the tools (I think) My dad normal helps me on all of this but he will be busy for the next few weeks with work and all. I am planning on putting on pressboard and then covering it and making area's where there will be clear plex glass and also rim for a full sized spare tire (possibly full size). Is anyone up to helping me.

I'd love to help you but I'm probably leaving town for work on Monday. Post pics of your progress!

We are in the same neck of the sticks, but I have been way too busy...sorry, man.

I won't be able to do it for like a month or so, I am gonna draw some more pictures up and probably buy some of the pieces this weekend but thats it for now. Planning on doing it on a nice sunny day.

Hey, what you putting in the trunk? what kinda box for what kinda sub? Do you know the specific dimensions yet? I have a little expertise in creating boxes and might be able to give some guidance.

I'll be willing to help, but time is tight... especially for the next 2 weeks.
Post again when you've narrowed down the times. I'll be there if I can.

I would love to have you help man. Let me get the stuff next week, and then from there we can set up a time. Hey do you have a nice saw. the saw blade is all mess up in the saw I have, and I don't feel like buying a new one.

I've got saw thingys up the ying yang. Some of them I've never even opened. Got a new one for Christmas. Remind me, and I'll bring it.

We could probably do it in my garage too, if you wanted.
Heck, we could have a CEG / stereo day at Sadeeq's house!
Yeah, everyone could stare in wonder and amazement at my stock CD player!

That would be fun. I don't really have a way of getting the boards down there though. Hey lance, come with it anyways. Do you have stock CD player or cassette. We should all pitch in $10.00 bucks towards buying lance a new deck.

I'll do it, but it'll take at least $200 to get a good one.
Do we have 20 takers?

I've got a 20 to pitch in. For the time Lance has spent on keeping the boards up and running I think it is worth it.

I have a problem with my driver door speakers. It seems to short out at certain volumes. Heck it might be blown for all I know. That could be a proyect to work on.

Hopefuly I will have my rear STB in by the time this takes place.

And then Lance can donate his stock CD deck to shotwell, whose CD deck looks like it got a fist in the faceplate, or at least knuckles from an agressive 2-3 shift!

That POS I have in my car that some like to call a CD player really drives me up the wall. The fist in the faceplate is an accurate description. Sometimes it won't play the CD I put in, and most of the time it won't give the CD back right away. I've had CDs stuck in there for days before! Usually a good hit will get what I want accomplished. It's the worst on road trips...have you ever been stuck with the same CD for 300 miles? AARGH!! I'm usually a patient man, but malfunctioning electronic equipment doesn't make it very far with me. One of these days I'll be able to afford a new one!
