Hey guys. Haven't been on in a while! Here's an update:

New kid in the house as of June 8th. His name is Austin David Marsh and he looks just like his brother Aidan.
The wife and I are looking at buying a house by Lake Tapps.
I'm working for a company out of Redmond now and work a ton of overtime. This explains why I haven't been around.
Car is still for sale $6500. I don't understand why it hasn't sold yet.

Vortech is for sale for 1500. Hopefully someone local buys it so I can help with the install.

Other than that I'm just keepin it real. Hope everyone is doing well and I'll try to check in more often.

$6500 for your SVT? If so I need more details.

I NEED ONE MORE!
Also does the Vortech have the revised jackshaft? Is it complete?

Good to hear from you! Congrats on the new addition to the family! I just finished school shopping for THREE kids and am completely broke...otherwise I'd be thinking about that supercharger

Definitely doing forced induction one of these days. I'm amazed what a brick 1980 car can do with an extremely inefficient turbo system.

We sort of tried to get a meet together, but it seems interest is down these days...not sure why. Might be lack of money like me or something. When we do get it together, hope to see you there!

6500 is for the car (in great condition w/90k) without the vortech. It is a later model shaft, but not a brand new one with bearings on the charger side.

I also forgot that I got a new daily driver. I have a work supplied truck with my new job so I guess it is a weekendly driver:

1992 325is

It is 5 sp, black on black, high mileage, 1 owner with all the records. got it for a great price. I'm a bmw nut so this was a great pickup for me.

the 3.8 turbo six is nothing to scoff at. I've seen some pretty sick numbers out of those.

You'll probably see me if there is a meet close by. I'm not sure which car I should take? Also, to my amazement, the svt is still fun to drive without boost!

This is true, and I have plans for the turbo brick. My machinist friend Ken found a recipe for 500HP at the crank with the factory style carb-turbo setup. That involves a pretty serious build with a 4.1 Buick block and a modified turbo. Ken says that 400HP should be really easy without going overboard. All that will likely wait though. I've got bigger fish to fry at the moment. One of these days...the car isn't going anywhere so there's no hurry.

If you come to a meet you've got to bring the SVT! How did the uninstall go? Everything come out all right? That would break my heart to remove something like that.

Hey mike, i am still wanting that super charger, but when I can't get a hold of you for two-three weeks, the money eventually burns a hole in my pocket. I can give you $150 on the 15th/16th, and another $800 on the 1st/2nd. Then the rest. thats $950 this month, and the rest next month. Actually lets make it a straigght $1000 this month. Would that be cool with you. You should call me sometime and we can talk exact details 253-632-4787. We can meet up and I will write you two checks (post dated).

If you pick the right day up here at mission raceway, you can have upto 4 GN's at the strip. One runs 11's.....

You better come up here. There's only 3 more in the year.

Hey Mike,

I still feel bad that I was not able to buy your car.

The stupid thing is that nobody would give me a loan for it including Wells Fargo.

Then I just happened on one with a couple more miles and about the same price at a dealership. Wells Fargo was happy to finance that one for me.

So I am really sorry that I could not buy yours. I really wanted the S/C.

I hope that you are able to sell it soon.

Paul

Forget those post-dated checks, I have a real one in my hand ready. Just kidding, Llane--but you need to get it in gear and get that s/c!!

lol they would only be post dated for the end of this month. Now that I have more then $300 extra a month. I can get it easier.. payday is coming and mike you still haven't replied.

Don't worry about it Paul. I hope it sells soon as well. Oh and welcome to the boards.

The uninstall went so smooth, I thought I was going to get struck by lightning. Me and my dad pulled it out in 6 hours complete! Niether of us was bleeding at any point in the procedure and nothing got damaged. Absolutely amazing.
