You know - the screw in type for the intake manifold.....are they only available from a Ford dealer?

also is it a direct plug-in for the stock Contour IAT plug?

Looks like the same to me.

Why do you want a lightning IAT? IAT are basically a dummy Ford Sensor and don't differ a great deal from vehicle to vehicle.

Yeah the ones shown at advance are like our IAT which is what the lightning has in the airbox, but the one in the intake manifold (the lightning's 2nd sensor)is a brass screw-in type IAT which is different.

It's the top one shown in advance that I need.

It's got to be the screw in type. Our IAT isn't made to seal into a pressurized area.

EDIT: I ordered the screw-in IAT from Part's America. It's going to cut it damn close!

Im running a Lightning IAT. Youll have to solder it in the old the wiring, but it works.

That looks like a vortec to me? Even has the fuel pressure regulator. Stazi also has the aluminum UIM, no? Does look like his bay, but sans turbo.

That's offroad SVT not me. As if I'd go back to an inferior supercharger.

I just used a die to thread my stock IAT(after I filed off the plastic ridge that held it into the stock intake), cut a piece of rubber for a gasket, then drilled and tapped a corresponding hole in the intercooler after the exchanger right before the TB for mounting. Screwed in tight and has held very solid with no leaks.
Took about 30 minutes, cost = $0.00

Spending no money and little effort to make a better part/product/mod.........Priceless.

Good idea, War... Nice one!

FYI the ADC kit has the IAT in the pipe that goes into the turbo- I suppose it would serve the engine better to have it after the IC...

Thats how mine is routed. Just tapped the Lightning IAT after the intercooler.

That's where my IAT is, between the TB and IC.

Got the IAT and it connects directly into the stock connector.

I'm tapping and threading the intake manifold and putting it in there, just like the lightning setup.

PS - motor is in, shopuld have it all done by tonight - tomorrow the latest.

How about those valve cover gaskets!
