Hey guys what size turbo should i use for my csvt? wanna make around 300whp when its all said and done?? HELP!

The standard Arizona Dyno kit comes with a T28 turbo which will get you around that mark. There are plelty of guys running the kit and works very well. Are you going upgrading the tranny at all? Its a must. Try the search next time, there is plenty of info out there.

Hahaa, that newbie with one post is Scott, Jim's(BeyondloadedSE) brother. He might know a thing or two about the ADC kit. lol.

Either way that newbie is a smelly pirate hooker.

Stazi does have the highest dyno with the T-28 kit with 295 whp. Im sure he could have it 300 whp if he advanced his timing with the 113 octane he was running at SZ but he forgot.

295 was good, but I didn't know it was on 113 octane!
Not to sound offensive, but that is about the lowest that a bone stock 3L with a standard turbo and interooler with straight room temp water in it will set down at 5.83psi and 91 octane.

Oh well, at least he is on the verge of remedying that situation.

Chris had about 320 wheels on the turbo mule. (basically stalling the turbo) Yes that was on race fuel as well. He also had an intercooler.
Playing high HP king while relying on water injection is iffy at best.

Nominal output on pump gas is the 285-300 wheels range. Intercooled of course.

{Edit}
His best output on max octane pump fuel (93-94 octane) was 301 FWHP / 288 FWTQ.

Nice of me to have all his dyno runs.

Actually Chris only got 290hp at the wheels on the mule. Either way I had THE highest dyno for the T28 kit...ever.

And I wasn't exactly at 113 octane as I had half a tank of Premium when I added the 5 gallons of 113, so more like 100 when it was mixed.

My bad, 100 ocatane makes it all better then... lol

I still like ~320HP at 8psi and 92 octane pump gas intercooled, rolling in off a road trip to get to the dyno up in Waco Texas.

If I go to the dyno again before I sell it, I'll run one at 14psi and just see what the hell happens. I've thought of flushing the intecooler with cold water before the run too, but so far I'm lazy and I like knowing how much I make as an everyday figure. So now its time to see what I make with real boost huh?

Spring Zing would be the perfect place for you to do it! Come on Tom, this is probably your last chance to go to Spring Zing WITH a Contour. Heck, mine too! So let's make SZ06, one to remember!

Noothing to do with this forum topic, but I just thought it was humorous that "Instigator"
posted that...

They can!!! I've already done it.
However, for HOW LONG can they handle it is the question?

Spring Zing is on a Thursday-Sunday. Uncle Sam doesn't like you to take days off when he is putting you through a multimillion dollar school.... I might have been able to get a Friday but I'd have to drive all day to get there. So that would be like a whole five days off I need to go.

I'll have to see the schedule, AND I'll have to lie and claim its something important like....well, I don't know like what but something bad...I won't say because I don't want to jinx myself.

Tom, quit being a chicken sh....... It's a must that you find a way to make it up here. Get out of town for a few days! You must be couped up, because you think you stand a chance at the dragstrip against me.

I wish man. I unfortunately have a code I must live by, and finding a way to keep my integrity and still go is going to be hard.

So what are you saying? You have priorities, and goals, and morals? ................... I don't wanna pressure you, although you don't stand a snowman's chance in hell of beating me on the track.
