1985 Buick Grand National. Bone stock. F*ckin' FLEW for the time period. It was my dad's, his present to himself for making Lt. Col.

Love the car, he still has it, but is in dire need of repair. Second engine (stepmother kept putting 87 in it, boom @ 14psi), trans is still good after over 150k.

Get this, a guy just a mile or so away from my Mom's house as a Grand National GNX with 2,000 miles!!! It sits in one of his garages under a cover for his 3-a-year drives.

Busted ass 1998.5 SVT Contour with a crappy built POS turbo system that can't get past 4psi of boost. I wonder if that's a result of the porly built wastegate or the fact that cylinder #5 has NO compression and is doing nothing more than pressurizing the crank case? That would explain all the oil throughout the system

Sorry, had to vent ... working of the "mini novel" that will chronicle my entire dealings with this car. All is good though, the 3L arrived today and I got her on the engine stand. I have also decided on a plan for the car ... all in due time.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add My first Store-Bought turbo car.

Volvo S40
T5 = Turbocharged 2.5L 5 cylinder engine.
All Wheel Drive = fun and safe.
Very logical interior, clean layout and GREAT build quality.
Best six speed I've ever driven, but then the transmission is made in Germany. It is so silky smooth and postive shifts!! Wow.

If any of you are in the market for a compact sport sedan then I advise you to take a ride in one. Good luck finding the manual T5 with all wheel drive though, took me 3 months to order one.
