You probably have to register over at FocalJet.

For the same price you can buy a new SCT tuner setup that will do 95% of what the Pectel can do and is easier to install and tune. The Focus wiring harness wont work for our cars so it will be a tough install.

The Pectel is a MAP based system so tuning will be tougher than on our MAF systems. Also one of the first guys on the Focus boards to get a Pectel said their american tech support was crappy and the software had glitches(some that he found) and wasn't 100% great. He said if the SCT software was around when he was first shopping around he would have gotten that instead.

I can't see why anyone would pay money for a stand alone when they had the EEC-V to begin with. That's like taking several steps backwards. It's not like you are running a cup car and need a 4-5 grand system that can tune cylinders individually. Any 2-3 grand setup will be vastly inferior to the capabilities of the EEC-V and has none of the drivability of it as well. A bad choice indeed!

Remember, this came out 2-3 years ago when there was nothing for the 4cyl fords. All you could do was find a tuner that had questionable experience with a unichip or something else and roll the dice. This was before SCT. The pectel Focus kit was pretty plug and play with no cutting involved.

The guy on the Focaljet it is still running it and is overall happy with it. He was running 9psi non intercooled for several years with no problems using the Aerocharger kit. But now that SCT is out and you can take advantage of the EECV, the pectel is not really needed.
