I have a guy thats going to do my 30L swap. He just did one for a kid on here. I talked to him and he said that he cant do the split port work to get the SVT(2.5 intakes ) to match, he said i should just use the 3.0L ones!! what do you guys think about that???
Depends what you are looking for out of this 3.0L swap. You can get the 3.0L heads port matched to fit the intakes. You could also try to do it yourself. Some guys on here also do the port matching so they probably will chim in if that is what you are looking for. I with the svt intakes because it suppose to be the most power for the swap. It just depends on the money you want to spend as well. Give us some more information and we could give you some direction.
If I were going naturally aspirated I would do the split ports. The SVT manifold works well with this - and I like the looks of the stock SVT engine! It will also save effort with fuel line plumbing.
With a turbocharger, oval port all the way.
i would love get a 03 04 motor and if i can buy a set of head that are port matched that would be great!! i will look for someone on here that does them. Thanks for the feed back, helps alot.
