I have a fusion with the v-6 but no aftermarket yet
but a 3.0 in a contour seen it , heard , watched it take off
one time,I think it is worth it but if you are willing to put it in don't you want to able to mod it?

If you guys know of any aftermarket for a 3.0 please let me know

Do you mean besides options on cams, heads, intakes, headers, cats, exhausts, springs, struts, tuner tools? There is a lot of info on this board and among its members on parts we know of for the 3.0L, and good leads available for everything else that might be specific about the Fusion.

So you came to the right place. What did you want to know/find for modding your 3.0L Fusion?

If Fusions were available with the 3.0L and a manual, you'd see several CEGers going that way, similar to how some went for 3.0L/mtx Mazda 6s. I'd imagine some 3.0L enhanced Focus owners know about mods to the 3.0L also.

the fusion 3L is rated 221hp at 6800rpm I think? I mean it's the same standard 3L engine without VVT which I think should be included but that's besides the point. There are a lot of options you could start with what exactly do you want to do?

No, the 3.0L in the Fusion does have VVT. I believe that the cams are the same as in the Mazda6.

You might also try hanging out at the Mazda boards, since the Fusion is most nearly a Mazda6. I hear that they have had significant power increases with minor modifications.

I'd say headers on that thing would be a nice touch. I'm not sure if the Contour/Cougar headers will fit though. I know there was a set of headers being made for the Mazda 6.

Per the Ford and Mazda webpages:
3.0L Fusion: 221 hp @ 6250 rpm
3.0L Mazda6: 215 hp @ 6300 rpm

The base engine themselves are practically the same but then you have to put on different intakes and different exhaust systems. These and the calibration will be tuned for different customers and different goals such as fuel/power/emissions.
