man. six nitrous nozzles would fit so nice on that intake manifold. i heard i will lose baseline HP vs. the SVT intake though. thoughts?

oh and very nice, SUPER clean looking swap so far

What intake manifold is that? Is it one of the older aluminum ones off the 3L's or the ST220?

st220

And you cleared the hood fine with the plastic valve covers.

What are u doing about the coil and plug wires?! It looks like you are trying to run the COP...

Plastic valve covers clear the hood just fine I have been running them just like that in the past

No COP, just gotta move the coilpack to the front since there is no room under the UIM...
The UIM seems to fit under the hood fine too

Looks Purdy!

That sucks now you need to pull the intake to get at the plugs. You can still get at them with the plastic 3L upper. Where does the EGR hook up?

No hookup for EGR on the UIM...
I had EGR blocked off on my taurus plastic manifold as well

Just a couple of things if anyone is going to be using a similar setup, its not possible to use the ST220 LIM unless you use the ST220 fuel rail since there is a difference on how they hold the injectors in place...
But it is possible to mount the ST220 manifold to the plastic LIM...

Dont forget to hook up a windsheild wiper

Lookin good! Can't wait to see some dyno numbers from that beast

But now...are u going to have any hood clearance issues, because I know the St220 manifold sits higher and the LIM sits lower.

I have had the pleasure of actually holding and finger banging an st220 manifold.

Seems like there are no hood clearence issues as of now I'll now exactly when the hood is bolted on but I doubt it

The St220 LIM is the same height as the plastic LIM when I checked

My hood vibrates on the Oil Fill Cap on the front valve cover. I have a 99 cougar, but you may run into the same issue. Im using the 3.0 front valve cover temporarily, so I'm not concerned about it. It is really annoying though.

Looks good btw. Did you paint the UIM, polished, or just stock?

The uim is jet hot coated

I just started her up two minutes ago I missed the noise it made

Now time to put on the serpentine belt and exhaust and I can take it for a spin

why the long face? The serp belt isn't necessary to just start it up for a sec to hear it run. No major items driven off the belt anyway.
