I've got a mechanical oil pressure gauge that I want to "T" off of the oil pressure sensor's mounting point. I'd use the other hole for the OPG, but my accusump is using that location.

Is there any reasons I shouldn't "T" it off from this location?

Shouldn't be a problem. Just check for leaks.
