would a 215-50-15 fit on my 205-60-15? I know what the #'s mean, but would a 215 fit a 205 rim? Or should i just stick with 205's?

You don't know what the numbers mean. Yes they'll fit.

ok well 205 is how wide the tire is 60 is side wall and 15 is rim size. i just wanna make sure that 215 will not rub at all, on stock se rims.

Play around here for a while:

If you don't know what you are doing, stick with the stock size.

yes a 215-50-15 will fit without rubbing, i am running 225-50-15 on stock rim with no rubbing whatsoever, although i would just like to let you know that a 215-50-15 will give you alot more wheel gap then stock, for me the gap isnt too bad, but definately looking at getting lowered to eliminate the gap.
hope this helps

That is the size I ran for three years with the BAT kit and it never rubbed.
