Goonzy, Penelope cannot go wrong with REV Xs, plus they weigh only 16.3lbs!!!

I got them on my Civic in Gunmetal, and they are double drilled to 4/108

Is that front lower facia lip an add-on or a completely different front piece? Looks great, as I've seen this on some tours and wondered where I could find one? Oh yeah, like the rims as well but prefer a little more spoke "meat".

its an addon called a mirko splitter. You can get it from www.mirkoracing.com

Here ya go Goonz!

Got Wheels? 6th wheel down!

I believe that's where I ordered mine from. I didn't get tires with them though, so they may be cheaper yet!

With Got Wheels & Tires you need to specify 4/108 since on the site it only shows 4/100 and 4/114.3. Call the order in instead of electronically submitting it.

Nice tread on that Michelin Goonzy. For size definitely 215/45/17 and nothing smaller than that. You may go 225/45/17 as Mark did in the picture I previously posted of his car, but here is more elaborative ones of the bigger footprint and sidewall:

Dude, those tires are LUDICROUSLY expesnive. If these are gonna be summer-only wheels then get a good (and cheaper) summer only tire! I would recommend the Falken Ziex 212's or the Dunlop Super Sport Races that Mark (Y2KSVT) has on the same wheels. They are a decent price and stick the the road like baby-sh!t does to a blanket!

Fusion ZRi!

unfortunately the dunlop super sport race tires that mark has have been discontinuned. No clue why?! They just came out not to long ago! I was wanting to get a set but i realized the tirerack doesnt even stock that tire in a 17" size anymore.

However, you might try here:
http://www.wheelenhancement.com/index.php?t=TireDetail&id=22

They list them, but i would call before you place an order to make sure they actually stock them.

seriously now..that was soo uncalled for

as for the pilot sports, thats the tire I like, I know everyone has the fuzion ZRI or whatever it is you all have with your rims. I want somthing different that no one has, just like these pilot sports, plus my friend has them on his g35c and they grip like crazzzzzzy!
Posted By: Goonz SVT Re: Black w/polished lip 17's - 07/02/05 04:41 AM
actually stazi I think your right, I was comparing the pilots sports to the Eagle F1's

I pilot sports are $183 and the F1's are $133..and the F1's wear better then the pilot sports, I guess my tire choice will be the eagle F1's

I will never buy any Michelin or Goodyear overpriced tire again. If you are looking for grip get the Yoko Parada.

I've ran both of these tires and both are awesome! Both are extremely soft! The Dunlop's more so.

Ok I can see getting different wheels because someone has them but tires.

Couldn't be more true. I can almost guarantee nobody has the same tires that I'm running on their Contour, but I bought them because they PERFORM! I'd put these tires up against ANY street tire, no matter what they cost.

My Bridgestone S03's are amazing in the wet and dry. I have not heard them squeal once. Now I just need the suspension upgrades to utilize them.
Posted By: Y2KSVT Re: Black w/polished lip 17's - 07/05/05 10:01 PM
I've heard some good things about the S03's. I chose the tire I did because of my driving habits. I called Luke at Tirerack and he had me sold. They're a 60 treadware tire, so they are in drag radial territory as far as how soft they are. They were only $115.00/ea. which was a pretty nice price for the superior performance!
