My father ordered brakes for my 1999 CSVT for my B-day back in November, just got a chance to open them and the pads specify that they are for either:

Cougar 98->(-)PWS
Mondeo 93-97(-)PWS
Mondeo 97-2000(-)PWS

So I called him and he said that they were from Gene Evans Ford from their SVO Division. Help will these fit my SVT?

The part numbers I have listed are:

On the label that specifies Mondeo:

1 129 985
XS71 2M008 AC

On the box the box came in:
XS7Z-2200-AA

Are these fronts or rears??

I have another set of pads also that are the fronts I believe they have the wire running off the top of them.

Their part # is 2S8Z - 2001 - AA

TIA,
Joe

I think the front should fit if they are 278mm's...
The rears should be the same

Check www.needforspeed.co.uk for the specs on the Mondeo brakes

I also think u have to cut off the wiring off the pads since the contours arent equipped with the alert light in the dash. (someone correct me if I am wrong)

Hope this helps

BAT has pictures of the two different types of pads that the SVT can have. Look at the picture and also look at your car to see what you have. www.batinc.net

I think we have a topic here where I posted an image of the stuff shamelessly copied from the BAT catalog. Check for the topic on upgrading to 278mm rotors.
